First Week :

 

·        1^st September :       Decided on the project (which project is to be taken) discussed given project topics

·        2^nd September :      Discussion on project proposal to submit.

·        4^th September :       First milestone (project statement) was approved by all team members.

Second Week :

 

·        8^th September :       project statement was modified according to the instructors specifications.

·        11^th September :     modified project statement  was designed and sent to our business advisor. 

Third Week :

 

·        15^th September :     Again modified and got approved from business advisor of the project statement and instructor.  discussed the different areas of our project. and specifically assigned role to each member.

·        18^th September :     identified the scope of the project for this class .

Fourth Week :

 

·        22^nd September :    started working on data model , discussed the theory behind it.

·        25^th September :     identified the problems on datamodel to be discussed with  instructor.

Fifth Week :    

 

·        29^th September :     different key fields of data model were identified worked on different levels of data model and also process model was discussed.

·        2^nd October :          three levels of data model was prepared ready for instructors evaluation and identified the problems faced in making the process model.

Sixth Week :

 

·        6^th October :           Tried to do process model but again some problems so sent email to the instructor regarding the problem. datamodel was sent to the instructor for approval

·        9^th October :           Again worked on process model according to the instructors example.

Seventh Week :

 

·        13^th October :         We completed  the three levels of process model on Microsoft Visio. and sent it to instructor and business advisor for approval.

also discussed the feasibility analysis.

·        16^th October :         The feasibility analysis was ready and repository was updated.

Eighth Week :

 

·        20^th October :         Made preparations for our first presentation of the analysis phase of our project e-home. designed input our prototype for the project.

·        21^st October :         Discussed the areas of our presentation.

·        23^rd October :         Made the final preparation for presentation and we were set for the presentation.

Ninth Week :

 

·        27^th October :         tried to design our inputs for inventory data base.

·        30^th October :         More development on input design.

Tenth Week :

 

·        3^rd November :       Worked on different outputs of our project data base.

·        6^th November :       continued to work on output design.

Eleventh Week :

 

·        10^th November :     designed the query screens, and different reports for our team presentation of design phase.

·        11^th November :     Got prepared for second presentation.

·        13^th November :     Discussed the final points for presentation.

 

Twelvth Week :

 

·        17^th November :     Repository was updated and necessary changes were made.

·        21^st November :     Worked on data base  problems. thanks giving week started.

Thirteenth Week :

 

·        24^th November :     Repository was updated and started user documentation.

·        Continued progress on database programming

Fourteenth Week :

 

·        28^th November :     Started Populating database with test data

·        30^th November :     Debugging of program completed. Continued Populating database with test data
