Ø     Founder  of the scientific  club, Osman Ibn  Abi  Ala’s ,  R.A.K.  Educational Zone , the aim of the club is to provide   new  technical methods in  teaching environmental sciences  and  their applications.

GIS Skills:

 

Skilled almost, in all GIS operations.  A fan of   digital elevation models (DEMs) ,  R.S  images -  specially that of  the Thematic MAPPER™ and  IKONOS satellites -  and  their applications in geosciences  and technology .  Capable of importing, overlaying, transforming them in a readable format with many GIS software.

·        1990 -  up--to-date  ,  Ministry of Education, U.A.E, as  a science  teacher, mainly  teaching a syllabus  of  environmental sciences. Awarded  during this period  a certificate  of (BEA),  better environment awards  from  Shell company , ministry of education and  federal environmental  agency  (U.A.E) , and a certificate of appreciation from  Osman Ibn  Abi  Ala’s ,  R.A.K.  Educational Zone  for the inauguration of the scientific club. Appointed as the the coordinator of the scientific teachers throughout R.A.K educational zone.

·        1989 -  19990   ,    in  R.A.K   municipality,  U.A.E.

·        1987 –1988 ,   Quality control  engineer  in ITMD ,  SUDAN.

 

 

 Publications:

 

o       Describing the geomorphology across the San Andreas Fault (western USA.), Master thesis submitted as a partial fulfillment for the master degree, university of London.

o        Towards exploiting GIS and R.S data in describing sedimentary basins and exploring oil fields in Sudan (   a proposal submitted to Greater Nile Petroleum, Sudan).

o       Intial steps in building your GIS projects , a paper dedicated for GIS students and researchers to get their hands wet with GIS operations.

 

Future plans:

 

·        Earning GIS professional certificate within the coming months.

·        Having my PhD within the coming five years.

·        Writing some basic books for students about GIS and R.S sciences.

·        Launching our own business in GIS field.
