"That...sucked..." Even though I knew every answer because I study unlike some people I know..." Alex looked over at Cecile who then looked down at her desk with a mischievious smile plastered on he face, "It seemed like Miss Ellis was watching my everyone move and breathing down my neck."
"Oh come on! It wasnt' that bad and you know it!" Cecile protested.
"Whatever."
Alex sighed and turned to her spiral and began to write.
When the tests were all done, Miss Ellis stood up in front of the class and said, "I am very disapointed with the results of this test. I've done my very best to prepare you. Anyway, class is over and it's time for you all to leave. No homework. Farewell." Miss Ellis turned around and watched the class leave from her desk.
Cecile and Alex gathered their stuff and left the room. The two of them finished up their classes and left M.A.G.E Academy.

As Cecile got off of her bus at her home, she turned around and yelled, "Later!" to Alex and walked inside.
"Hello Cecile. How was school?" Cecile's mother asked.
"Uh, boring as usual. What did you expect?"
"Oh, I don't know," Her mother walked over to the counter and picked up a blue envelope with gold cursive writing on the front. "This came for you. I have no clue what it is." The older mage handed the envelope to Cecile.
Cecile took the envelope and looked at the writing, rubbing her fingers over it. The writing seemed to sparkle under her touch.She turned the envelope over and slid her finger under the flap. Once the flap was up, Cecile removed the inside piece of parchment and unfolded the paper. On the paper was the same gold lettering which formed the words:
Dear Miss Cecile Jordan
You have been selected as one of four to be part of a group to destroy the ultimate evil. You are the only person on Magica that can control the one item to defeat this evil. To recieve this item and begin your journey, meet me on the noon of the sixth day of December at the abandoned builing on twenty-fourth street. I will be waiting for you. Do not tell anyone about this note.

Chapter 2
Cecile finished reading to herself and looked up at her mother.
"Who's it from?" Her mother questioned.
"Um, my boyfriend, Dmitri."
"Okay, if you say so."
Cecile went upstairs to her bedroom and shut the door. She set her bag on her bed and her sceptor on its stand, with the bag of orbs next to it. Cecile went over to her calendar which she took off the wall and then sat on her bed with it.
"Let's see, today is the fourth day of December. So, I need to meet this 'Lion' in two days. Wonder what this is all about..." Cecile thought. Behind Cecile, her bedroom phone rang. She went over to her phone and picked it up.
"She spoke into the reciever, "Hello? Cecile's room."
"Hey Cecile. It's Alex."
"Hey. What's up?"
"Nothing muc. Oh yeah, just called to tell you something. I won't be here on the sixth. I'll be...um...visiting relatives."
"Okay. Good." Cecile said in a hushed voice which Alex happened to catch.
"Huh?"
"Nothing."
"Well, I've got to go now. Bye."
"Bye."
