Information Technology Department

My role in this department includes the following:

 

  1. Maintenance and technical support for the CITIL Flex Cube 6.2 software.
  2. Full maintenance for the source code of the Marsoft application (previously known as Business 2000).
  3. Full maintenance for the source code of the Shareholder application (a Shareholder Registrar application).
  4. Technically handling full underwriting/capital increase processes.
  5. Creating and maintaining reports in Business Objects.
  6. Creating and maintaining reports in Crystal Reports.
  7. Developing windows/web applications as per the needs and requirements.
  8. Maintaining/administering available of-the-shelf applications.

 

 


 

1997 – 2001      Kuwait Financial Centre "Markaz"

Operations Department

My role in the Operations Department was to assist the Local Investment Department which deals with the Kuwait Stock Exchange, it included the following:

 

1.       Handling the process of daily market deals, and which is :

                                             i.      Calculating the brokerage for each broker

                                           ii.      Entering deals and market rates into the system

                                          iii.      Printing out reports stating each portfolio’s position

 

2.       Preparing and sending monthly clients’ reports, which contains:

                                             i.      Closing portfolio position of the month

                                           ii.      Portfolio performance report

                                          iii.      Cash movements of the month

 

3.          Back office for domestic funds managed by Markaz:
