Let me first start by saying that B.B. Kings is a very nice place. Now to "DA SHOW", I dont know where to start so ima just break it down artist by artist leading up to THE ULTIMATE , THE MASTER...MR EL DeBARGE.....

Very good, hit the stage at just about 835pm with 2 backround singers ,no band, he sang along to pre recorded tracks. He performed about 5 or 6 songs some of his old stuff and some from his up comming album.He was a nice opening act, had the ladies screaming..yada...yada...yada...thank you Jon B....goodnight!!

Hit the stage at just about 910pm, with a 4 piece band (including himself) that rocked da house, 3 backround singers: his brother Darrell(whos nickname is "FLAKES" thats what Chico was callin him) and Bunnys 2 daughters (i 4 got there names )but they were beautiful they looked just like there momma & sounding very good.NOw chico started with a little Marvin Gaye to warm up to Then went into Mr. Wonderful, Iggin Me, One Love, Virgin, Love Still Good, Not 2 Gether, Next Time,Listen To Ya Man, No Garuntee & I may be forgettin 1 or 2 so forgive me. But Chico was very very good, he sounded the best I ever heard him sound & I;ve seen him a few times, not saying he wasnt good b 4 but he has gotten better, much better, he has improved his range and is sounding really good.Of course the ladies were going CRAZY..CRAZY..CRAZY and Chico did not disapoint them, those women in the front rows got to cop plenty of feels & they did!!! rubbin all over his tummy , legs & his luv muscle....Chico rocked non stop 4 bout an hour very very good set very good.

Now a special suprise seated in the audience just a few feet away from us was none other than ASHFORD & SIMPSON and MS.PATTI LABELLE SO NEEDLESS TO SAY after Chico went off they introduced the legends to the crowd & MS PATTI hit the stage to perform "IF ONLY YOU KNEW" she tore da house DOWN.. that was ALLL THAT PEOPLE were going CRAZY I COULD HARDLY HER ANYTHING that was such a treat ...but it didnt stop there.....

At just about 1035pm EL took the stage by storm. Allow me to set this up 4 u....drum roll ...ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd tisk... 10 backround singers....3 piece horn section......2 percussionist.....1 drummer...1 bass...1 gutair...1 keyboard & himself on piano & keys & vocals.WOW WOW WOW now thats a band..10 back up singers...10, El had a chour up there. El started with "ALL THIS LOVE" the extended mix ,all the songs were the extended version just to let you know, now El is up there croonin & lookin good I might add & up comes MS PATTI to sing ALL THIS LOVE with EL & and it was BEAUTIFUL .

EL kept breaking down the band and just singing, man he sounded sooooooooooo good just like the records...BETTER, that brother can SANG SANG SANG...that voice & my wife being all close up on me and the damn APPLE MARTINIS...WHOA!!! HOLLA @CHA BOY!!!!! I was groovin after the 1st song , then he went into TIME WILL REVEAL tore dat up!!agian crooning & breakin it down,he sat down at the piano and went into LOVE ME IN A SPECIAL WAY....SMOKIN...SMOKIN...ladies screamin ,fellas hollerin (cause da ladies screamin ya know El warmin it up 4 da single fellas(and married) good night to get cha mack on ..no disrespect 2 ya ladies but el was settin da mood)then El got a little upset I think cause the sound system wasnt right ..now I could not tell but he was saying he could not hear him self on stage so he took a lil' break while they got it right.

He came back & went into STAY WITH ME & AFTER THE DANCE extra extended mix, now ELs all over the stage singin to the ladies up on the piano laying across it singin to the womens who are loving it and he starts talking about how he needs someone to go with him after the dance cause he gets lonely at night and that he want a nice chocolate someone ,now he says that he likes all women in all flavors but chocolate IS HIS FAVORITE & THICKNESS IS HIS WEAKNESS,so now El brings this young lady on the stage & sings to her & dances with her and she's like O.k. thanx but then he brings another sweet tender up & she's all over him & seem to me he was feelin her too. so El finshes up AFTER THE DANCE & states that he's ready to dance and bust out into a BOB MARLEY TRIBUTE MEADLY, that was tight!!! El rockin MARLEY...he was JAMMIN THE BAND WAS TIGHT AND THE BACK ROUND SINGERS ON POINT..

I was thourghly entertained EL was all that and any time he is performing anywhere near me I AM GOING AND I RECOMMEND YOU DO THE SAME, IT WILL BE WORTH IT, TRUST ME GO SEE EL OR CHICO IN A TOWN NEAR YOU .I WILL SAY THIS WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST NIGHTS OF MY LIFE RIGHT UP THERE WITH THE BIRTH OF MY CHILDREN & MY WEDDING DAY, EVEN MY WIFE WHO ISN'T THE BIGGEST DEBARGE FAN RANKED THIS AS ONE OF OUR TOP 5 DATES...WHOA!!! COOL POINTS 4 ME!! Now I did not hear EL say anything about a new album nor did I her him perform any new material I hope I missed that ... Again the show was ALL THAT the venue was nice the music was great, Chico & EL were out of this world & the drinks, though expensive were PO-TENT All that together made 4 an incredible night. Last night was INCERDIBLE!!!!......
