The LIFE Institute is a 501c3 organization. LIFE's mission is to improve the quality of life for higher risk youth and families; to impact the negative attitudes/behaviors that distract many youth from ever becoming employable; and, to develop the essential support networks to keep our children and families safe and productive.
LIFE (Lasting Initiatives For Empowerment) was founded by Duane Campbell & Dr. Eddie L. Woods. With over 35 years combined experience, LIFE does consistent service provision under the leadership of Barbra W. Simmons (Executive Director), a 30 year veteran of LMPD.
