I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Computer Engineering and I believe I am the person you are looking for to fill the position. I have a strong interest and an excellent background in software development, including projects that uses the swing package to design the UI, and would be interested in discussing my skills as a software developer.
For my senior project, I had the privilege to work, in a team of four people, with a couple of Newmonics employees to upgrade their TreeShaker program. The TreeShaker is a software to reduce the size of Java class files to be used in an embedded system. Our responsibilities were to add a Graphical User Interface, using the Swing library, adding statistical analysis reports of the new class files, and attempt to reduce the running time of the program.
My experiences also include working as one of four members, as a server designer, in a software engineering team where we designed and developed a server-client system for a fictitious company selling large images. The design was to have two servers, so as to reduce the load for a server, which works by itself. The client would communicate with both servers to complete every transactions. We succeeded in reducing the load of a single server, creating a more efficient system.
