There is a place
where the sky is never clear,
neverending darkness
lingers here.
It is a place
where lost souls wander,
forever searching for the link
to the happiness they once lost.
The streets are damnp and somber
like they alleyways,
that are hidden deep
in the endless night.
Walking through the
lonely streets of this place,
is like walking through the mazes
in the psyches of it's inhabitants.
Sadness has brought them here
a sadness of incurable measure,
their only hope is to right the person
who has done them wrong.
The spirit which carried them here
is not a spirit of heaven,
or a spirit of hell
just an unknown spirit always watching over us.
For most souls
it is true love that has brought them here,
they have loved one person w/ their entire heart
then lost them at blink of an eye.
For others it is mere confusion
as they wonder what has brought them here,
and why they are not
free of their worries.
They do not realize
that this is their last chance;
their only hope left
for vengeance.
Who knows what will happen
to those who do not know their purpose;
I suppose they will stay in this dark, lifeless place
for all eternity.
Those that get their revenge
are carried back to the land of the dead,
those that do not...
thier souls are lost.... forever.
