Blood Dawn skeleton warriors including command. 2 poses with shield and axe or sword and shield.
height=18mm
width=bulky
personal opinion=I like these skeletons though they are a bit bulky compared to 15mm humans. Only 2 poses. You can bend the skeleton axemen at the mid-torso to make them a little shorter and more compatible with other 15mm figures. A before and after shot of this can be seen above. Since this is the kind of skeletons you can raise from the dead in Armies of Arcana, I decided to make their weapons and armor look rusted with a bit of brownish orange paint.
size compatibility=Compatible with Black Raven Foundry undead, not Chariot.
Blood Dawn skeleton scythe bearer. 1 pose. Has two round holster rings on his back for the scythe.
height=18mm
width=bulky
personal opinion=Nice armored skeletons. The scythes look huge. I'm not too fond of the mohawk hairstyle on skeletons.
size compatibility=Compatible with Black Raven Foundry undead.
Blood Dawn skeleton whip master. 1 pose.
height=18mm
width=bulky
personal opinion=Cloaked skeletons wielding stranded whips. I think these originally came from the Reaper undead chariot pack. You can get these individually from Thane's Games.
size compatibility=Compatible with Black Raven Foundry undead.
Blood Dawn skeleton 2-handed axeman. 1 pose.
height=20mm
width=bulky
personal opinion=Heavily armored skeletons wielding large axes. They have cloth or hair tied around their helmets, which I thought was unusual. They have tattered cloaks.
size compatibility=Compatible with Black Raven Foundry undead.
Blood Dawn skeleton halberdier. 1 pose.
height=20mm
width=bulky
personal opinion=Heavily armored skeletons wielding halberds. You could cut the spearhead off the axes and make 2-handed axemen with a different pose from those above. They look identical to the 2-handed axeman above, but with halberds.
size compatibility=Compatible with Black Raven Foundry undead.
Blood Dawn skeleton archer. 1 pose.
height=20mm
width=bulky
personal opinion=Archers with metal armor. Armored archers are definately rare in the fantasy world, glad to see someone makes them. I cut the ends off some of the bows to make shortbows as seen in the second picture above.
Chariot skeleton archers. 2 poses. You get 8 in a pack.
height=16mm
width=skimpy
rumors=Chariot makes the best 15mm skeletons.
personal opinion=These skeletons are really skimpy. A few were damaged during shipping due to their frailty, but these can be fixed. They may be more accurate than other manufacturer's skeletons in terms of width.
size compatibility=unknown
Chariot skeleton scythes. 3 poses. You get 8 in a pack. You get hoodless ones with shields, hooded ones with shields, and hooded ones without shields.
height=16.5mm
width=skimpy
person opinion=Skimpy skeletons. The hooded skeletons resemble the grim reaper.
size compatibility=unknown
undead pikeman
height=20mm
width=medium
personal opinion=I really dislike this figure for some reason. Maybe its the huge eye sockets or unanimated pose. I'm not sure, it just didn't catch my imagination.
size compatibility=Blood Dawn undead
undead spearman
height=19mm
width=medium
personal opinion=Not a bad looking figure. These skeletons come armed with a spear and helmet but no shield. I cut the end off the unpainted skeleton above and you are better able to see the figure from the front. Spearmen must be the hardest figures to scan.
size compatibility=Blood Dawn undead
undead spearman with shield
height=19mm
width=medium
personal opinion=Nice figure. Don't suffer from the oversized eye sockets like the pikeman above. They have spears, helmets, and shields.
size compatibility=Blood Dawn undead
Undead swordsman with an unusual shield design.
height=20mm
width=medium
personal opinion=I dislike these figures not only because they suffer from the same oversized eye socket problem as the pikeman above, but also because of the curled piece of hair coming out of their skulls. I do like the shield though. It has chainmail attached to the bottom of it.
size compatibility=Blood Dawn undead
Undead swordsman with a snake design on its shield.
height=20mm
width=medium
personal opinion=Not a bad figure. I like the snake on its shield. They suffer from the oversized eye sockets as the pikeman above.
size compatibility=Blood Dawn undead
Undead swordsman with no helmet.
height=18mm
width=medium
personal opinion=Not very easy on the eyes. The same oversized eye sockets. I think the only melee troops from Black Raven Foundry that don't suffer from this problem are the spearmen with shields.
size compatibility=Blood Dawn undead
Javelin throwers. 1 pose.
height=18mm
width=medium
personal opinion=These could probably be used as spearmen, but I think the pose and shortness of the spears better suggests javelins. The only undead javelin throwers I have ever seen.
Reaper familiar wolves. 1 pose. You can buy these separately from Thane's Games.
height=14mm to eyes, 16mm to top of head
width=medium
personal opinion=These are Reaper wolves. I cut a few gashes in their fur and painted blood seeping out. I'll use these for undead wolves.
