Rules of Email FIFA (EFIFA) league: |

1. The games in this league will be simulated in EA Sports FIFA 2002 (PC Version). With halftime length set on 4 minutes, referee strictness set to maximum and weather conditions set to random.
2. The games will be simulated on Sunday night so the deadline for each round is Saturday 18:00 Central European Time.
3. Each of the managers will receive his team roster as is in the latest FIFA 2002 update. Rosters for all teams will be published on the EFIFA web site. Any transfer which will be made during the season will be made also in the team rosters. No transfer will be made in the last two weeks of the season.
4. Each move should have the team for that round, formation, attacking intensity 1 for all defense - 5 for all attack), defensive and attcaking styles, kick takers and team captain. You can also include if you want one of your players to be sweeper or how you like your midfield to look like etc... You dont have to send new rosters for every round, you can send only changes in the team if the tactics are the same as in the previous round or you can confirm the same tactics from the previous match.
Example: MANCHESTER UNITED Formation: 3-5-2 GK:Barthez DEF:G.Neville,Blanc,Silvestre MID:Beckham,Giggs,Keane,Scholes,Veron FOR:van Nistelrooy,Yorke Attacking Intensity:4 Attacking Style: Counter attack Defensive Style: Contain Left Corner, Right Corner, Free Kick: Beckham Penalty kick: van Nistelrooy Team Captain: Keane
5. Injured and suspended players: If player is injured during the game, you can't put him in your team for 3 rounds. If player gets a red card (or 2 yellow cards) during the game, you can't put him in your team for 2 rounds. If player accumulates 2 yellow cards in different games, you can't put him in your team for 1 round.
6. Injured players during the game will be replaced by computer chosen substitute.
7. No Mail Received rules: If it's your 1st NMR then the team will stay the same as the last round (injured and suspended players will be substituted by the GameMaster). If it's your 2nd NMR you will receive a yellow card. If it's your 3rd NMR (which I hope will never happen) you will receive a red card and your team will be managed by somebody from the waiting list or will be dummy team. Dummy teams always score 0 goals but their results before becoming dummy team counts.
8. Cup matches will be played in 2 legs (home and away) with away goal rule if the aggregate score is equal and golden goal rule if both games finished with the same result. Cup final is played in only one game.
9. You have my word that all of the teams and tactics will be made as they are in your emails.
10. In case of some problems or situations not covered with these rules the GameMaster word is final.

13. Tie breaker rule. In case that more teams have sam number of points at the end of the season. Team with better goal difference will be the champion. If the goal difference is the same then team with more goals scored will be the champion. In case both teams have same number of goals scored and goals aginst then one tie break match will be played.
