1. Drag point k to investigate the changes in size of triangle P'Q'R'.  

    a. What happens when k is between 0 and 1?

    b. What happens when k is negative?

2. How are OP' and OP related to the scale factor (k)?

3. Which other ratio gives the scale factor?

4. How is the ratio of the areas related to the scale factor?

5. Change the size of PQR and repeat steps 2-4.

6. Drag the centre of enlargement (O) to point P and observe the image of P.

7. Repeat step 6 for points Q and R.
