On my college campus, many people slip around winter on huge layers of ice. Or, they trip on steps in our Lecture Center and run into computers. I've seen it all and even had some spills of my own. What do you do when it happens?

-I just feel bad for the person, almost embarrassed.

-I saw this person fall on his ass one winter and snickered to myself. Like a minute later, I almost fell on MY ass. I never laughed again. Karma.

-I try to do the right thing and ask if they are OK. Most people stop laughing after that. It makes them feel bad for laughing.
