Hello, and welcome to my own little nook here at the Shounen Ai site. =P So, what can you find here? Practically anything, from blatant self-promotions to recommended links and surprise tidbits and etceteras. Yep, so I'd advice you to check this page from time to time. Who knows what you'll find, ne? This would probably be the most updated part of the site, since I'll most likely be putting up "previews" here --- of fanfics or whatever announcements. Needless to say, this is my column, which I can do at my own time and pace. ^_^

So, with that done and over with I'll be talking about the new version of "Shounen Ai". First, what's with the font? Do those scribblings up there really mean "Webmistress' Corner"? Answer: I don't think so. It's just a font I downloaded and I fancied using it for the new layout. It's "Kasmir", in case you're interested. I think you can find it here. The English one underneath the Japanese is "DomoAregato" from the same site, I think. Sorry for not being entirely sure, but I forgot to note it down when I downloaded it. This is partly a disclaimer, that if you can read the Kasmir and find out it is offensive in meaning, I apologize but it was not intended. Tell me about it, so I can change it. But I sorta liked the way it came out...it's very...eastern, IMO. As for the images, they can be found almost anywhere in the web. I just edited it a bit and adjusted the hues to fit the "warm" colors of the site.

I decided to remove the 'summaries' section, since I can't possibly write every episode summary alone for all those series...unless some people would be willing to contribute to keep that section up. Hehe. The Gravitation summaries which were up then would be transferred to the Miscellaneous section. I would probably concentrate more on fanfiction archives *especially* anime/manga series which have only few fics lying about. Saying this, you probably won't be finding much Gundam Wing fics here, since they can practically be found everywhere. But that's not to say I don't like 'em, I actually love reading them, mind you.

If you'd notice, some of the sections are still under construction, which only means one thing: I need more contributions! ^_^; So far, I have only one wallpaper done, so it would be quite taxing to make a page for just a single wallpaper. And so here comes one of the first 'previews' that I was talking about earlier. It's a Yuki/Shuichi wallpaper, in case you don't know, from Gravitation.

I'd also like to tell everybody, and invite you guys to join my Mailing Lists. Laurel helps me moderate them, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for keeping the MLs alive. ^^

Shounen-ai ML - a discussion of anything and everything yaoi/shounen ai. This is *almost* an unmoderated list, so you're quite free of talking about anything under the sun. If you want to know when this site is updated, then join here.

SAFanfiction ML - now this ML is for PURE fanfiction. Comments are privately e-mailed to their respective authors. I'd also be posting my fics here.

Now, as we touch the topic of fanfiction, I guess you probably know by now that I've been doing my first multi-chapter, Slam Dunk fic. Yeah, I practically announced it on almost every section of the site, I know. So sue me...eh...no, I was kidding. Anywaaay...I'd really appreciate some comments, so that I'll know if it's worth continuing or not. ^^ I planned it to be quite light-hearted, and Rukawa-centric. But it's gonna be SenRu...most likely, provided that I don't suddenly find HanaRu or RuKo more to my liking. But as of now, SenRu is still my fave couple in SD fandom. ^.~

It's a college/university ficcie, entitled: "Whoever Said College is Easy?" I just uploaded the prologue and the first chapter. From there, he'll probably be experiencing the woes and perks of dorm life, the liberties of pre-adulthood, and the responsibilities that these entail.

I guess that's enough blabber for one day. Soon, on the next update, I'll be putting up more chapters of the fic, plus some of the submissions/contributions that will hopefully come in. If anyone's interested in helping out with the site or MLs, please contact me. Oh, the "Selling/Trading" section should be up by then, so check back soon! ^__^
