One of the things that drew me to this anime was its characters. Who could resist the trigger-happy manager, a famous singer with a split-personality, the mysterious Seguchi Tohma, and others that when combined together in this series, truly add zest and color to the show.

The music --- mostly upbeat, with good melodies that you'd love to sing to. Some of my personal favorites would be the ending song "Glaring Dream" and "Shining Collection". What's good about these is that you can see them performed. Yep, the main character's in a band, what do you expect? ;)

One of the setbacks, though, is the lack of character exploration. There was much emphasis on Yuki and Shuichi's on and off relationship, that certain events were not given enough focus. I'll be talking spoilers, but I refer to the Aizawa incident. The anime could have used a little bit more angst, in my opinion. But then again, perhaps that's what makes Gravitation a "light-hearted" series to watch.

For those concerned about lemons and such, do not fear. There are no actual sex scenes, merely hints of such. The most hentai that you could get is a bed scene in the OAV, and all the private parts are obscured. But even that was not meant for the sex itself, but for humor.

All in all, it's a very entertaining anime. Not only do you get the shounen ai goodness, but bonus music videos as well. :P
