--The release date for the highly anticipated 1st maxi-single, "WHITE LIE," has been set for September 26.
KAMIJO: That's right. We are planning on releasing a three part series of singles, one every two months, in September, November, and January. And so, "WHITE LIE" will be the first in this three-part series. I think that you can look forward to a lot.
--So how is it looking?
YOU: It has more punch than we thought it would, you could say the shock level is very good.
MAYU: It's like we made a sound that we ourselves never imagined, so both the listeners and we are surprised.
--Hahaha. Is the recording finished?
KAMIJO: No, there's still a little bit left, but it's pretty much taken its shape.
--So, you just have to add the finishing touches? When the four of you record something, is there any sharing of roles?
KAMIJO: Well, I don't know if you'd call it sharing roles, but YOU is really the mood maker. And AYA, he looks quite & gentle at first glance, but he can get really heated up. He's the type of man who may all of a sudden start shouting "I can't stand summer!" while we are all doing something. *laughs*
YOU: But, he's also a very hard worker. Looking at him and (the others) around me motivates me; it makes me think that I've got to work hard too!
--How are you too MAYU?
MAYU: I'm probably miscellaneous stuff. *laughs*
--Hahaha. Do you run around trying to do various odd jobs? *laughs*
MAYU: Well, it's pretty close to something like that. *laughs*
KAMIJO: But MAYU is the most pop of the four of us, in terms of sound. Even when the three of us are going towards some crazy direction, he's always really calm and continues moving along a pure, steady road. And so, it's like he's both the levelheaded, calm one, but also the one doing all the extra stuff. *laughs* And as for me...
AYA: The band spokesman.
KAMIJO: That sounds cool. *laughs* I do kind of have the feeling that I work (with the other members) as a part of a whole.
YOU: Actually, we're always together, aren't we?
KAMIJO: Yeah. Even to just go buy a guitar string, the four of us go together like a kids' soccer team or something. *laughs* but for me, I think I really need that.
--Because it's that kind of collaboration is what makes the bonds between the members deeper?
KAMIJO: Yeah. For me, I really wanted to make that kind of memory if I'm going to be in a band. Even if it's something boring, we're all doing it together, laughing and thinking.... Well, I also feel that we might be doing that too much right now. *laughs* But I think that we've put the feelings of all four of us into sound.
--In "WHITE LIE" as well?
YOU: Yeah, it's all in there. *laughs* Conflict and agony are in there too. And so, I think it'll be a heavy album in several meanings.
--Also, didn't you mention a live concert being decided upon?
KAMIJO: Yes. After "WHITE LIE" is released, we plan on having our first live as NEW SODMY on November, 4 at Shibuya On Air West. And after that, we'll release another single and then do another live and keep alternating like that... we can't stop now. It's like "I'm begging, someone please stop us~!"
--Well, that's not neccessary is it? *laughs*
KAMIJO: Well, not really. *laughs* But, I'm so busy and exhausted that I'd like to stop *laughs*
YOU: Well, we'll keep plugging along. Now that we're at this point, all we can do is move forth. It's like we've already pulled the trigger! *laughs*

*This sentence didn't turn out to clear in my translation..., what KAMIJO is talking about is how when they are recording stuff,
he and YOU and AYA may do something radical or really out-there, but MAYU is the one who stays consistent (and is
usually more pop in terms of sound, compared to the other three members).
