Well, I got to Sakae station late, so I missed meeting my friend Rina, but I called her and we arranged to meet at CLUB QUATTRO later. In the meantime, I met with some other friends to wait at CLUB QUATTRO for the members to enter. There were some other fans waiting as well. We were trying to get there at noon, but didn't get there until almost 1:00 pm. I heard something from inside that sounded suspisciously like KAMIJO warming up his vocals so I went to ask the security staff if the members had already arrived. The staff said that LAREINE had all arrived early in the morning. Next time I'll have to try waiting earlier so I can see them come in! I had forgotten to bring an artificial flower to wave during the concert, but I knew a good artificial flower store right by CLUB QUATTRO (I used to live in Nagoya), so we went there next. I wanted to get a blue rose and a red rose, but the blue roses weren't that nice and were too expensive, so I got a nice red rose instead. Then met up with Rina and we, along with some other friends, went around taking pictures with cosplayers until it was time to wait in line to get in. They let people into the hall at 6:00pm sharp. I was so surprised at how small the room was. I could practically touch the stage from where I was standing! I had bought some really tall gal platform shoes so that I could see (it was still hard to see over people's heads, but luckily I was in the 3rd row by the time the concert started. A very excited KAMIJO cosplayer standing behind me pushed me up from the 5th row to the 3rd (^^;).

The Fierte "LAST OF ROMANCE" SE was playing in the background and then the members came out!!! EMIRU came out first, smiled at the fans and then attended to his bass. I can't remember the order of who came out next, but I think that either KAMIJO or MACHI came out last. The screaming was insane (^^;). Especially the EMIRU fans, there were a lot of them at the Nagoya live. EMIRU was wearing a completely white outfit similar to his hakuchou outfit. MAYU and MACHI were also wearing white outfits. I didn't get a good look at MACHI's outfit, but MAYU's outfit looked the same as his hakuchou outfit. KAMIJO was wearing the fierte outfit, the Miss Carmila cross, and the fleur ring (to show his engagement to the fans). He was also wearing a different kind of contact lens than normal, they were kind of greenish-blue in color. And somehow they seemed kind of mirror-like. It was hard not to stare at his eyes, which seemed to mysteriously penetrate everything they gazed upon (^^;).

Here are my impressions of seeing them live: EMIRU is kind of bigger than he seems in the magazine pictures, but he was really cute... except for the beard stubble under his chin >_<; (this was gone at the Osaka live). MAYU looked EXACTLY like he does in his pictures. I was really surprised, since everyone else looked kind of different. KAMIJO is more beautiful in real life than in his pictures ^_^, though he seemed older in real life to me. I could see fine lines on his face that were carefully covered with makeup, but he was still really beautiful. MACHI is also really beautiful, and has really delicate features. He's a little more masculine in real life. He looked younger in real life too. He has flawless skin and hair, I'm kind of jealous (^^;). The four members stood for a short time, looking at the audience, and I made eye-contact with KAMIJO. It may have been my imagination, but he made a slightly surprised expression (maybe international fans haven't gone to their concerts before...?)

1. Dir En Grey
Then KAMIJO's voice rose above the screams saying "Hai-iro no anata ni dir en grey" and with that they jumped into Dir en grey. KAMIJO sang it in his natural voice, instead of the fake deep voice on the original demo tape. It was really great! There was so much energy. It was cute how KAMIJO called out "MAYU!!" just before the guitar solo ^_^. I was surprised at how much louder MAYU, EMIRU, and MACHI were in real life. EMIRU's bass was really cool!

2. SOLITUDE
After they finished that song, they lauched straight into SOLITUDE. This was great live! During the intro, KAMIJO yelled things out to the audience like "Come on honey!" which generated tons of screams from the audience. I think that both EMIRU and MACHI were singing the chorus for this. I watched MAYU for most of the song (the other members were blocked from view as a cosplayer next to me had shoved me in an uncomfortable position). He was playing so fast!

3. Je t'aime
Next they played Je'taime. KAMIJO said something like "We will give you our love, will you take it!?" Lots of screams, and then KAMIJO went into Je'taime. I almost got buried under some people, and was kind of scared when this guy (there are some guys at LAREINE concerts ^_^), pulled me out and rescued me. I was so thankful. He pulled me over to EMIRU's side, so I was sort of between EMIRU and KAMIJO. EMIRU's bass was SO good during this song! KAMIJO put his arm around MAYU during the guitar solo.

4. Suna no shiro de nemuru koibito
After Je'taime, KAMIJO said, "I wonder what kind kiss will wake you?" And then introduced the song Suna no shiro de nemuru koibito. They played this song at a much faster tempo compared to the CD version of it, and it totally rocked! I could easily see now, since the person in front of me was a head shorter than me, and I was in the second row. The guy that helped me was right next to me, I'm not sure, but I think that he was trying to keep an eye out for me. KAMIJO took several blue roses that the fans were waving. Rina told me later that he took her blue rose during this song.

5. Billet
They then went straight into Billet. All the fans sang the song along with him really loudly. I think most of the fans were singing most of the songs (I was ^^;), but you could really hear them during this song. MAYU played the acoustic guitar parts on his ESP Mirage (the red guitar), and it sounded really good!! KAMIJO spoke the part that the little boy says in the song, but he said it in japanese instead of french.

6. Tsukiyou no Kageki
The next song was Tsukiyou no Kageki. KAMIJO introduced the song with "Now I'd like to perform the very first demo tape song that the four of us made together. Tsukiyou no Kageki." The audience erupted in screams as they started playing. I kept watching KAMIJO, he seemed so sad... his eyes got teary at one point during this song, and he kept looking over at MAYU or staring out at some obsecure point at the back of the hall. He sang part of this song to MACHI.

7 & 8. Gerbe, Pink no Kasa
They followed with Gerbe. This is one of my all time favorities, and it was wonderful to hear them play it. There was lots of energy during this song. EMIRU was really bouncy during this song. ^_^ He kept jumping up and down. Sometime around this time, I noticed that KAMIJO's shirt had gone transparent with sweat (^^;). After this was Pink no kasa. This sounded different since MAYU played a lot of parts with his guitar that were originally played with a different instrument on the CD. It was cool though. KAMIJO sang the whole song to EMIRU, and sort of kept prancing around him. There was a part where he had his arm around him, and after the "Oh cupid" part, he kissed EMIRU on the neck. EMIRU looked pretty angry though, and it looked like he mouthed "Yamero! (cut it out!)" to KAMIJO, and then KAMIJO walked back to the center of the stage and sang to the audience. KAMIJO said something like "Everyone play along with silly me!"...(^^;) during MAYU's guitar solo.

First MC
KAMIJO got a drink of water and then started the first MC with "Bonjour Honey!!" MAYU took off his guitar as KAMIJO started talking and got his acoustic guitar. EMIRU got his moroccas (guess we all know what song is coming up, right?) and he and MACHI came up to the front of the stage. KAMIJO talked about how it had been a long time since they had met and asked if the fans were doing well. Everyone screamed, and he said that from their reaction it seemed that there was lots of passion in the air. He then said that he'd like to put as much passion into the next lyrics, LAREINE-style (^^;), and something about japanese summers being hot and full of tension. He mentioned something about his lame jokes I think, but don't remember.

9. emeraude
This song was really great live!! It was played to a faster rythm than on the CD. KAMIJO played parts of the song on his guitar ^_^ I've never seen KAMIJO play guitar before, so it was kind of cool. He played in the classical style of playing (like spanish guitar players play). EMIRU was really bouncy, and MACHI had lots of energy. All the fans were singing along with this song. KAMIJO and MACHI did the usual thing, where KAMIJO puts his arms around MACHI and then they both lean backwards. MACHI jumped up and down really cutely, doing this little kind of dance to the song. I couldn't see MAYU much since he was blocked by KAMIJO. After this song, KAMIJO, MAYU, and EMIRU went off stage, but MACHI remained.

MACHI's drum solo
MACHI's drum solo was really cool! ^_^ It was done to Mylene Farmer's song "L'HORLOGE." I don't really know what to say about it, except that it was a really cool drum solo. I was really impressed. "L'HORLOGE" is a kind of mysterious sounding song, and I thought that it suited MACHI really well. After the solo, MACHI went backstage as well.

Second MC
KAMIJO came back on stage. The SE that was playing was the same one that was used during the Metamorphose Tour Final during Lillie's death (it's on the chantons l'amour video). KAMIJO was wearing the Miss CARMILA outfit and jacket. The other members were wearing their black Miss CARMILA outfits as well. This was a sad MC... KAMIJO got tears in his eyes. I didn't catch everything he said.. but he talked about Miss Carmila being born, and something being left, and how it was just like LAREINE (@_@;). He then asked the fans to please listen to him, and to please see off the other members warmly and with love. He talked about how besides him, 7 members have come in the history of the band LAREINE: (someone's name I didn't catch), Hirono, Akira, Kyouka.. and MAYU, EMIRU, and MACHI... because of all of them were there, it was a happy time. He said that for him though, the best members were MAYU, EMIRU, and MACHI. He then said that he'd like to call each of their names one last time on the stage at Nagoya. He then turned it into a bit of a joke by saying in an arificially cheerful and loud voice that he'd like to call them in a cheerful voice. Everyone laughed. First he introduced "guitarist MAYU," and there were tons of cheers as MAYU came onto the stage. KAMIJO said he was happy to see MAYU's smiling face. Next, he called "bassist EMIRU" and there were lots more cheers as EMIRU came out. KAMIJO asked EMIRU to smile, but EMIRU looked really serious and then KAMIJO commented on what a "poker-face" he has (^^;). Then he called "drummer MACHI." MACHI got the most screams.

10. Hakumei
The music intro for Hakumei started. This song was also so awesome live!! MAYU's guitar was incredible *_* KAMIJO was yelling something to the audience to get them excited, and then went into the usual "SHADE! PHASE! IT'S ALSO DEEP! (all so deep?)" that he always says to excite the audience during the song intro. EMIRU sprayed the audience with this mist-thing, which was really great. I was about to die from heat exhaustion.

11. Shiroi Ito
After Hakumei, they launched straight into Shiroi Ito. MAYU's guitar was great. EMIRU's bass was a lot louder than on the CD. There was no female vocalist to accompany him, but the fans sang the female part to accompany KAMIJO at the appropriate parts and it sounded really cool. I couldn't really remember the lyrics of this song well enough to join in though...

12. Fuyu Tokyo
KAMIJO introduced this song with "The Romance Revolution isn't over yet!" I think this song sounds better live ^_^ At the part where he's supposed to say "Fuyu no Tokyo de," He sang "Fuyu no Nagoya de" which was really cool. He mentioned that he would do that right before the song started.

Third MC
KAMIJO talked about the other members leaving. He said, "at the end of this tour.. guitarist MAYU, bassist EMIRU, and drummer MACHI will leave LAREINE. MAYU, EMIRU, MACHI... thanks for everything up until now. And... that I've been able to meet such wonderful members... I'll keep it close to my heart. This is the leaving of these three members, but the band is not breaking up. This isn't the end of activity either, I'm going to continue LAREINE by myself. And, even though I will be alone, I won't stop my activity. I'm really glad it was the four of us, and I'm glad that you (he's referring to the three other members) made time for us to spend together. Thank you." Everyone applauded. Then KAMIJO continued, "Even though the members are parting ways... EMIRU is already working hard in his new band, right? (EMIRU nods). MACHI, MAYU please keep up the great work." The fans started staying "Ganbatte!" to MAYU and EMIRU, and then they said, "KAMIJO-san mou ganbatte ne!" and he answered "of course" and smiled.
KAMIJO said, "EMIRU, if you say "arigatou" with your bass, how would it sound?" and EMIRU played "do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do" on his bass. KAMIJO sings to the do-re-mi melody "a-ri-ga-to-u-go-za-i- hey, it gets cut off." KAMIJO continued, "It's not an end, I'd like you to listen to this song with the feelings of a beginning." KAMIJO got tears in his eyes, and couldn't continue speaking... the fans encouraged him and after a moment, he continued and I think he said something like please remember LAREINE, the four of us. He then introduces the next song "Metamorphose." (note: Even though I put quotations around what KAMIJO is saying, those aren't direct quotes.. but they're close paraphrases--Niji)

13. Metamorphose
KAMIJO did the hand movements he always does during the intro (the ones where it looks like he's trying to get out of a room or something). The performance of this was just like in the Chantons L'amour video. EMIRU was singing the backup vocals. I never realized before that he's the one singing the backup vocals during this song. KAMIJO sang this song with a lot of passion. I touched KAMIJO's hand during this song!!

14. Ano hito no aishita hito nara
After Metamorphose, the piano music for Ano hito no aishita hito nara starts. This song was really sad... KAMIJO put a lot of feeling into the song when he sang it.

15. Fiancialles
After Ano hito no aishita hito nara, they launched straight into Fiancialles. It was so exciting!! This song was wonderful live ^_^ It's the first LAREINE song that I heard, so I have really special feelings for it. It's such a musically beautiful piece. I got into the front row during this song too ^_^ And I touched KAMIJO-san's hand for the second time. I was really excited. And KAMIJO smiled slightly at me! kyaa~~!!! It's a good thing I didn't faint due to overexcitement. Everyone was singing along with this song, even MAYU, EMIRU, and MACHI. I remember that MAYU played a different variation of his last guitar solo (at the end of the song).

16. Fleur
Another SE is played, KAMIJO talked about how on September 30, the fanclub "Fleur" will be closed. Then he says, "As long as I..even if it's not me, as long as LAREINE continues to exist, I'd like to create a fanclub with the name Fleur again. Until that time, please hold this song close to your hearts ... 'Fleur'." They then launched into Fleur. KAMIJO asked everyone to sing along with him, and pretty much everyone did ^_^ This song was really pretty. After this song, the 4 members went off stage.

Fourth MC
Everyone kept calling the members' names until they came back onto stage. I remember EMIRU came on first, cause this girl next to me got really excited and started jumping up and down (there's not even room to move, I don't know how she did it) and elbowed me in the ribs while she was screaming EMIRU's name at the top of her lungs. The other members came out too. KAMIJO called out MACHI's name, who answered "what is it?" Then KAMIJO said, "What do you mean 'what is it'?" (^^;)
KAMIJO asked MACHI, "what will you do after this?" and MACHI answered something about starting a journy to idealistic wisdom, to which KAMIJO responded "that's cool ^_^" Everyone started yelling "take me with you" to MACHI, but KAMIJO looked over at MACHI and then responded "he says no." (^^;) He then asked MAYU the same question, and MAYU said that he'd like to spend some time thinking about that. He was so shy, he stared at the floor the whole time. KAMIJO wished MAYU good luck with things. He then wished EMIRU goodluck in his new band. He then said to the other members, "When you guys make your ideal band, are you going to call it LAREINE?" It was funny, and everyone laughed, though EMIRU didn't seem to happy. KAMIJO asked the fans to please continue to support the other three members after they leave LAREINE.

KAMIJO then asked, "Is it ok to talk a little bit about the LAREINE after these three members leave?" Getting the ok from the audience, KAMIJO continued, "I can't give too many details yet, but since the time it was decided the other members would leave, I've written a lot of songs. These songs reflect my feelings about that, and I'd like to release these songs as soon as possible. I think I'll be able to make a more clear announcent at the end of August, until then please wait..." He then introduced the first encore song, "Kaze no Yuuwaku."

1. Kaze no Yuuwaku
This song had lots of energy. EMIRU was really bouncy, and touched the hands of those in the audience. I got to touch EMIRU's hand ^_^

2. Saikai no Hana
Before they sang this song, KAMIJO said that this time he wouldn't be singing it with the intent that they will be reunited. He talks about having hope for reunion though, a feeling for it, and he said he wants to sing with that feeling in mind. He said that he'd be happy if the fans would sing with him, and then introduced "saikai no hana." This song was great. I got to touch KAMIJO's hand again. ^_^ EMIRU was tapping(?) people on the heads during part of this song, but he was in the far corner, away from me. Everyone threw the artificial flowers they had brought with them onto the stage during this song. EMIRU moved just as I threw mine, and it ended up hitting him in the shoulder. I felt kind of bad about that. At the end, KAMIJO said "Thanks, let's meet again." The members then went off stage again.

3. Romancia
KAMIJO returned to the stage alone. The piano for Romancia began to play, and KAMIJO sang Romancia on stage alone. It was really sad. KAMIJO got tears in his eyes again, and stopped singing in the middle of the song. He did finish the song though. Some of the fans were crying.

4. Fierte no Umi to tomo ni kyu
After Romancia, the intro to Fierte no Umi to tomo ni kyu started. KAMIJO sang this song very seriously and intently. There was no recording of the french lyrics (Justacia's part) like on the CD, but KAMIJO said Asphodel's lines. The lines of the Blue Illusion were prerecorded. Everyone clapped at the end of this song.

5. Lillie Charlotte
Lillie Charlotte started right after Fierte no Umi to tomo ni kyu ended. I was suprised because I didn't expect to hear this song, but was really excited ^_^ KAMIJO mentioned something about being born again, but I didn't quite catch it. He then announced "Lillie Charlotte." MACHI was really close to me, but I didn't notice at first because I was just watching KAMIJO (^^;). Then I noticed MACHI was there and looked up at him. It was the first time I saw him really close-up. I looked straight into his eyes, and was kind of weireded out making direct eye contact like that.. and then after a sec, realization hit and I realized that MACHI had been watching me! MACHI and I sort of came to this conclusion at the same time (^^;) and both averted our gaze. After making eye-contact, he seemed sort of embarrassed or something I think... I don't know, but then he focused on some distant obsecure point at the back of the hall for the rest of the song. This was a cool song, because all of the members and everyone in the audience were all singing together. At the end of the song, KAMIJO said thank you and goodbye. That was the end of the concert. MACHI stayed behind at the end of the show, to throw his drumsticks into the audience. He kissed each drumstick before he threw it. He threw either five or six pairs, and it sort of became a game with the audience. He threw them all far back into the audience though, so I didn't have a chance of catching one of them. This is the only live during this tour where he threw so many drumsticks into the audience. I saw one of the drumsticks after the concert, and it had MACHI's kissmark on it ^_^

I was so tired after the concert, and my feet hurt so bad. I regretted throwing my rose now since I wanted to keep it as a souvenir. I could see my rose on stage (it was the only red rose made out of velvet), and asked the staff person if he would hand it back to me. He smiled, and was really friendly and gave it back to me. I talked with him a little bit, he was curious about where I was from, etc. Some people were filling out questionnaires, but I was too tired to do mine. I guess I should have filled it out. I knew that there was only one exit out of that building the members would use and so we headed there(that's one of the benefits from living in Nagoya before). There were other fans waiting too. While we were waiting, the roadies loaded the equipment. They were trying to get us to leave, but no one budged. Then the members came out!! KAMIJO waved to the fans, and MACHI smiled. I didn't realize it was MACHI at first since he was wearing a hat that covered all of his hair, and sunglasses. MAYU and EMIRU hurriedly passed by all the fans, but some of the fans called out to EMIRU, waving a letter. He came and took the letter from that fan and then went into the van with the others. This was the longest of the three concerts for this tour (it was about 2 and a half hours!), and they played songs they didn't play at the other concerts. It was really a great show!

Note: There was a time in the conert where MACHI was held out a flower that had been thrown out on stage for the fans to grab (I couldn't reach it >_<; but I did get to touch MACHI's hand ^_^), but I don't remember exactly when he did this... except that it was after Saikai no hana because all the flowers that everyone had thrown onto the stage were all there. MACHI accidentally almost dropped the flower though just as two fans tried to grab it (^^;). After that, MACHI walked over to KAMIJO and MAYU, and KAMIJO handed MACHI a red rose and said something to him (but I couldn't hear what he said), but MACHI turned his head away from KAMIJO and didn't take the rose from him, and KAMIJO made a kind of annoyed face (^^;).

Note 2: Sometime during the concert, I think maybe during Metamorphose, but I can't exactly remember, I touched EMIRU's skirt by accident when I was trying to touch his hand. A lot of japanese cosplayers had told me his costumes are made out of velveteen (I had been making his fiancialles costume at the time), but I was never positively sure if it was velveteen or velvet. It turned out that it really is velveteen. (I doubt anyone's interested, but thought I'd just mention it in case someone is planning on making one of his costumes).
