COIN CROSS continued

As this is being done, the left fingertips grip the coin so that the bottom card slides from between the hidden coin and the top card (Fig 5). The right hand and card are shown then the card is turned face down once again and placed criss-cross beneath the coin and card in the left. The left fingers grip the coin between the two cards holding it in place. To the audience it seems as if you have just shown the two chosen cards back and front as well as both your empty hands. No matter how much they "burn" (look closely at) your hands, they cannot see the hidden coin.

A magic pass is made, a magic word is said, then place your empty right palm underneath the outer right cross-corner and tell the audience to watch closely. Release your grip with the left fingers and allow the coin to slide down to that corner. Stop. This allows the spectators to witness that the coin has appeared from between the cards, not from underneath (Fig 6). After a few seconds, remove the cards to the left letting the coin lay on the palm by itself.
Where did it come from?

It was
magic!
