Honor

The wind howled as the rain began to fall again. Serina LeBeau wouldn't let up. No matter where Remy LeBeau went, his wife's demanding cries still rang in his ears.

The Past...

Ravyn's fists were clinched so tight her knuckles were white as she stood on the bluff confronting her husband. "Is it true, Remy?" She demanded to his back. He couldn't face her, he knew her question, she's asked him now for the last hour, and he's avoided it. "Did Sinister 'create' me for you?" She waited for a reply, and as before, she got none. "Damn it Remy! Answer me! You owe me that. Did he create me for you!"

He sighed. He didn't want to deal with this. He swore under his breath to kill him for telling her. He refused to answer her and began to walk away, the rain slashing down.

She sensed him begin to leave. "Don't you dare walk away from me, LeBeau." She growled, throwing one of her fans, embedding it where his next step would fall. Blind or not, she knew how to get someones attention.

"I can't tell you what I don' know, Renia." He hated lieing to her, but the cost of the truth could be loosing her. He picked up her fan out of the mud, slipping it into his pocket, and began to walk away.

She stood there, contimplating what it would take to break him. She knew he was lieing, but why? "Then I suppose it doesn't matter what happens to me now. He said 'I belong to you' I guess he was wrong. If he 'created' me for you, then if I destroyed what he has created so far, I must be destroyed as well." She stated, running for the cliff.

"I suppose," He began, turning around, seeing her run. "No!" He yelled, lost in the wind, running to catch her. He caught her just as her feet left the ground, pulling back so hard that they landed in the mud. She struggled, breaking free, trying to crawl away from him as the tears fell from her eyes. He caught her leg, pulling her down again. She began to kick wildly, fighting to get away. "Stop it! I won't let you kill yourself!" He said getting a hold of both legs working his way up.

She continued her struggle, hopping to break free. "I have to know ! If I am his creation, I must be distroyed !" She broke free of him, standing in the down pour.

He stood up not too far from her. "Then kill me." He said softly.

"What?!"

"He created me, distroy me." He challenged, moving to stand in front of her. "You have de power," He pulled the dagger that held her hair, placing it in her hand, the point at his chest. "Kill me."

This didn't shock her as he had hopped. She pulled the blade free of his hand, cutting him. "Don't try reverse psycology with me, Remy. You damn well I can't, I tried before, remember? He has a block that prevents me from killing you." She nearly spat at him, turning away. "Why can't you just tell me? I know you know, Why won't you tell me?"

"Why must you know?"

"I caenna go on like this. The nightmares, the flash backs, these strange memories. I caenna take it anymore." She shook her fists in frustration. "You duenna know, you duenna have them. You jus' hold me an' tell me 'it's gonna be alright'. Well it's not. So either tell me or I will find away to end it when your not around."

"You know I'll stop you."

"You have to sleep sometime Remy." She threatened, her back to him, she turned the dagger on herself. Hari-kari was an option a Samuri would concider in her situation as an honorable way out. She slowly pressed the point to her abdomen. "I caenna be what you want me to be, give you what you want. Caenna you see that now?" She felt the tip puncture her flesh.

He got an erie feeling that she was up to something. She has done this in the past, she's always been alittle on the suicidel side, after what she had gone through, most were surprised that she's lived this long. Most of them would have killed themselves long ago, or gone insaine. Rape, selling her as a weapon, selling her on the oriental market as a whore, forcing her to wed someone against her will, hell, he went as far as to force the consimation of her marrage while others looked and cheered on. 'Oh God how I wish I could get that memory out of my mind. The look on her face. Her horror as I tore her apart.' He shook it off, moving to behind her. " Renia, please." He pleaded, pulling the knife away. "Would it mean that much to you to know?"

She stared blankly ahead of her. "Yes." She said softly, starting to walk away.

"Yes." He almost whispered.

She stopped suddenly. "What?" Her voice shook with tears.

"He created several. First were the twins, they're only two years older than you, maybe three. Sam was not quite what he wanted for me. He took one last chance with you, your mother concenting to all the alterations during her pregnancy. When you proved to be exactly what he wanted, but too tempermental, they chose to temper you. They were hopping for another boy when they got Bre." He explained to her back. She didn't move not even a twitch. "Did you hear me Serina? He created you, in a sense. He only altered you during your mother's pregnancy, after he knew you were a girl. You were created de natural way." He moved to hold her, turning her to face him. "De same way I'd like to have one with you some day."

She looked up at him, her eyes filled with the tears she'd been crying. "I....I.....I caenna, Remy." She whispered in a shocked voice. "I'm sorry, I jus' caenna." She cried, as she ran away.

The Present....

As he sits here now, he has no idea where she is or if and when she'll be home. 'Still can't believe I told her.'
