was born in 1730.(29) A Marriage
record found in Hackensack NJ lists possible parents for Joseph Wessels of New
Jersey. He died in 1792. According to file recording of Linda Herman
Baptismal records for these children were found in the Dutch Reform Church of
Paramus. Earlier Wessels researchers believe that there were two other children
JOSEPH b. 1767 & BENJAMIN b. 1780....there is no evidence of these children
at this point.
He was married to *Arianntje UNKNOWN on 25 Apr 1791.
