When I woke up this morning, I looked out the window to see masses of snow falling to the ground, and about three inches already on the grass and pathways. Now, a little over two hours later, it has stopped snowing and whatever had been on the ground has melted. What in the hell is going on here?
And now it's snowing again, but the wind from the lake makes it look like the snow's floating up from Leonard Field. It's rather pretty...
So I think I may have broken myself last night. I woke up coughing, with a headache and with some severe pain in my ankle. This is not good. I do not enjoy this. This is bad. I had a good time, though. I danced like a fool with Chel, Pia and Mary to the cute little Celtic band, and I learned that combining multiple Tylenols and Vodka leads to early drunkenness. Which is good to know, if not entirely healthy. I think, however, that I may have freaked Mary out by first buying her a drink (because she looked like she was having an awkward time and hadn't brought any money of her own) and then by telling her that I thought the female fiddler was cute. I am cursed to having everyone around me think I'm gay.
I just came back from Morris. Chel, Tali, Pia and I made some grilled cheese sandwiches in Morris One's common room, as a way of escaping the horror that is Saturday night dinner in the caf. Then Chel and I took over the tv room and watched four episodes of The Monkees from a tape that she had. I had forgotten how horribly chaotic the storylines were. And how confusing the editing was. And how hiddeous Mickey's hair was during the first season. Seriously grotty stuff. But funny, yes, and not without a certain amount of wit. All in all, quite the enjoyable show. It'll never be able to compete with Buffy or West Wing, but it's cute as hell nevertheless.
I think I may go to sleep now. I'm all cough-y and headache-y, and if this persists much longer, I may have to drag my ass down to Student Health Services and ask them to drug me up. I hope it doesn't come to that, though. It seems like such a bother.
