I just tore one of those Bioré pore-sucking things off my nose. Those things are amazing. I could stare at the little thingies that came out of my skin for hours. They're fascinating to me. My nose feels all light and airy now. Like it's a sponge that's just been rinced and all the holes are getting air in them for the first time in forever. My nose is a sponge.

I was using the little pore-sucking-out thing as a distraction, if you must know. I'm in the midst of writing my art history essay, my last essay of the term. It is due in an hour and a half. I have to write my introduction, then hand it in. I'm so on the ball.

Okay, back to the essay. I shall return.

6:08 p.m. Oh, dear me! It is such a beautiful day! I got my essay done around 3:30, met with Chel and handed it in, then we spent the rest of the afternoon sitting on the grass in front of the lake enjoying the day. I read another few pages of my book (Lydia and Mr. Whickham just got married, and Elizabeth wrote her aunt to find out what Mr. Darcy had to do with the wedding as Lydia is sworn to secrecy -- oh the suspense!) and Chelsea listened to my music and napped. She borrowed my Turin Brakes CD last Friday, and seems to be just as obsessed with it as I was when I first got it. Apparently, though, her roommate's boyfriend knows the backup guitarist (Gaele? Gail? I dunno, the cute one), which is just so exciting. He lives with Dave(the boyfriend)'s cousin or something like that, and he used to live in Toronto, on Dundas Street. Yeah, isn't that just the hottest gossip? Chel and I want to orchestrate a meeting next time he comes here, so we can force him to tour, or at least to play a private show for us. And yes, Claire, you can come, too.

That's mostly all I've done today. Write and essay, lounge on the grass, read, and oh yeah, I went to dinner. That was fun. Now I think I'll read some more of my book, then go over to Morris around 7:15 to watch Freinds and Survivor. Because I feel like joining in today. Usually, I'd scoff at the idea of watching those shows, but today's weather has made me feel like I belong, and as such I feel I should join in with regular res activities. So there you go. I may or may not let you know how it turns out. We'll see.

Listening to:
my Emo Slut Sampler. Jessa got the one I sent her in the mail, so I got the urge to listen to it, too.
