Aw, hell.

Now, I'm at work, see, and I've been bored here for quite a while. So I think to myself, hey! It's Friday! That means there's a new Friday Five! I've always wanted to do one of those! Why don't I do one now?

So I look it up and I copy and paste it and I fill it out and I make it look all nice and pretty. But before I post it, and before I add my little link to the Friday Five main page, I think, hm, maybe I'll check out other Friday Fives first. So I do that and I get confused. Why does no one have their FF on their first page? Where are they? Have they not posted the yet? Is something wrong with blogger (strangely, all the ones I checked out were powered by blogger - go figure)?

But then I figure it out. It's not Friday July 5th. It's Friday July 12th, and there hasn't been a Friday Five posted today. I just filled out and nearly posted last week's Friday Five. And then I nearly linked to it. Jesus Christ.

So yeah, that was my drama of the day. I do, however, have two things to say to you all:
One: if you start something like the Friday Five, you have to do it consistantly, ie: every week, otherwise it's not cool and it confuses me.
Two: I am very stupid.

Oh, and
Three: Where did everyone go?

In other news, I have nothing planned for this weekend. Well, that's not really true. I'm probably going to do some shoping with my mum and sister, and we may finally come to a consensus on what colour to paint the bathroom. I really hope that happens, as I will then have something to do next week. See, I can't start emptying the spare room or paint it until I've done at least one of the bathrooms, and I have to do the spare room so that I can move into it before the end of the first week of August. Because the second week of August I have to paint my current room so that Meg can move into it and paint her old room so we can set up an office for my dad. It's all very complex.

And I'm suddenly realizing how little there is left of the summer.

Listening to:
my sister on the phone.

Reading:
Jack Kerouac's On The Road, a proper picture of which I cannot find.

Feeling:
bored.

Singing:
That song about Nero. You know, the one Bugs Bunny sings when he's using Elmer Fudd's indoor Roman bath? Yeah, that one.
