Chia Plots

The horse always had a predilection for small, furry, crunchy animals

Chia Plots! A wonderful genre! I first discovered the concept at X-Entertainment - a sort of online form of narrated comic; I love all things X-E, lovely site, Matt's a closet genius...

Anyway, I absolutely fell in love with the whole concept of '80s nostalgia, complete with 80's toons, action figures and how to make the perfect jelly-mould of Krang (in South Africa, "Jello" is jelly, and "jelly" is jam, in case the Americans among you are confused). And, as i was inspired, I created this silly site. Silly-silly, woohoo. I even made a fake chia plot, 'cos Matt hadn't finished his (in the interim, Matt sent Ralphie to hell. Deservedly so, apparently, although I ain't got no clue who Ralphie actually is. The G.I. Joes and Cobra Commander seem to have gone on holiday ["vacation"]. The standing lamp with a woman's leg as the stand was an interesting touch).

I really love setting up story-lines and photographing action-figures in scenes (most of the action-figures and My-Little-Ponies I have are kept in 5-litre icecream cartons and cat-baskets, underneath my bed). I have one problem: a serious lack of action-figures. South Africa wasn't really the place to get action-figures in the eighties anyway, because of the sanctions. My Barbie-horse cost 100 bucks, back when Rands were practically on a par with dollars.

The purpose of all this maeandering? (that's how the actual river in actual Ancient Greek was spelt, okay...) - to say that I need bizarre pics for my next Evil Pony Plot instalment. Please mail me if you have a digital camera and are in a position to send me JPEG images - I will be eternally grateful, and will advertise your site on the page as a link, if you like. Oh yes, and if people would think up ideas for what a "samoflange" looks like (Thundercats fans will know what I'm talking about - it's from one of the t-cat outtakes. A type of small dog, perhaps? Or a really obscure kitchen-utensil? Send me some pics and I'll put 'em on me site...).
