Last we saw of Rincewind, he was trapped in the Dungeon Dimensions (typical). And, although the wizards at UU felt a bit guilty about it, and are rather unnerved by the sound of running feet pattering ghostlike through the campus, accompanied by the sounds of ohshitohshit I'mgonnadieI'mgonnadie, they feel that the disturbance won't last too long....

Um, except that the world's most unlikely Faust is trying to make a deal with some sort of demonic genie from the netherworld, and accidently summons ... Rincewind. Yes - and his Luggage (so, then ... got more than he bargained for, did he?) Rincewind isn't ungrateful, mind you, it's just that he doubts he'll be able to deliver the three oblicatory wishes.
