To Touch Your Soul
Leigh Anne Jordon
I am so glad you came into my life. I am so glad that you allowed my soul to touch yours. For in touching your soul, I have touched the very essence of who you are. By allowing me into your private world, you have shown me your true inner self. For allowing me behind your wall, I have seen the wonder of your love. And in seeing that wonder, I am amazed and in awe of who you are. Then depth of your caring and the intensity of your love is something I had only dreamed of finding and of knowing. Your soul reached out and embraced mine, pulling it close, healing it with its magic. Seeking to hold, if only for a short time, the tenderness that is you, I took a chance knowing that time is so fleeting and so fragile. To touch, to feel, to be a part of something so wonderful and so magnificent as your love humbles me. For in touching your soul, I have learned and I have grown. I have been privileged to be a part of something few people will ever have a chance to be a part of, I have been a part of love, the oneness that comes when two destined souls meet. In that one moment, all time stood still, the world did not exist; there were only two souls straining to reach, straining to touch, straining to come together in an array of fireworks and magic. For one brief moment, it happened Eternity blended with the now. The past, the present and the future came together, they came in on the tide of love. The world was right for that one moment. All of this occurred when two souls were in the right place, the right time, and the stars were aligned above. It truly was a magnificent event, for in space and time I was allowed to touch your soul.
