Today&Future Forecast SummaryCurrently @12:18AM, 37F, dp 28F, 70%, 1003.4mb, calm, clng unlimited ft, vis 10mi, clear, none A powerful storm will bomb out off the North Carolina Coast overnight. Currently an upper level low is located over SouthEastern Canada. The energy from that system is currently rapidly transferring over to the South Carolina Coastline. The low will move Northeast crossing the easternmost tip of Cape Cod. Heavy snows (Blizzard?!?!?) will fall across most of New England except for the coastlines. Looking back at previous forecasts for this storm, the current forecast is no different except for a more westerly track (as is the case with most storms this year). Looking around the Internet I see some meteorologists predicting snow measured in feet, while others such as the NWS predicting only inches to a foot. I really believe this one may come and bite us in the ass with surprisingly heavy snows. The current radar has heavy precip falling across much of the East Coast, about to move into Eastern PA and NJ. I wish my body was more nocturnal so I could stay up all night monitoring this baby. However, my eyes are already struggling to stay open so forget that. Gary Gray was even warning parts of Eastern Pa and NJ to keep their eyes on the radar during the day Sunday as the precip may be heavier than expected over those areas. (sweet) Dunno for sure what will happen. Here's my best guess which I GUARANTEE won't be accurate (haha at least I'm honest) Philly suburbs will get dusting to an inch. Eastern Jersey 2", Long Island rain mostly, Northern CT and Central MA 6-10. Yeh, that's enough of that. I really have no clue. My eyes are closing more, neeeeeeeed sleep. Keep your eyes on the radar and satellites tommorrow. I'll do a snow dance before bed...8^)...Ev |
