Today&Future Forecast Summary8:13 PM: Temp 33F, DP 16F, RH 49%, 1014.8 mb, nw 14, vis 10 mi, clear, none Low pressure formed off the Long Island and Southern New England coast late last night giving portions of southern New England some light-moderate snows. Snow contines to fall at this hour as the low deepens east of Cape Cod. After midnight, all precip should taper off. The next couple of days will have seasonal temps and tranquil weather until the next storm comes into our area Wednesday. Precipitation type is still up in the air. If the cold air hangs in there we could see more snow than rain. However, any snow that fell would be wet and would have to come down heavily in order for it to stick to the streets. Hell, if it's going to be cold, let it snow. I don't like having a rainy day with highs only in the mid 30s. Nonetheless, I shouldn't complain because we need any precipitation really bad. We're in a severe drought now. Most people can't recognize this because nothing is growing yet. But once we start warming up into the 60s and 70s, people will notice when the grass stays brown and the water wells start drying up. I'm not too worried though, becuase it usually rains hard here in the spring. Have a good day..8^)...Ev |
