SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!!!!!!! SWEET MAMA!!! Last night a weak high pressure moved into the area bringing in colder air. This set the stage for today's overrunning snows. The snow begain this afternoon aroun 3 and continued for 3 hours before mixing with sleet and freezing rain. 2 inches fell!!! This is a pathetic amount relative to some of our other storms. HOWEVER, considering how little snow we had this winter and that it was 70 degrees just 2 days ago...this snow is SOOOOOOOOOOO much.

Mixed precip will continue overnight and then change to plain rain once the warm March sun comes up tommorrow. The morons at the NWS have changed their forecast from 100% chance of rain to cloudy. Yet, when one looks at the radar and satellites now, you can plainly see a large area of precip developing across Kentucky, Tennessee, and WV. They were late on calling today's snow amounts, albeit small, and they will be late again changing the forecast for more rain tommorrow. Still, they are awesome meteorologists, it's just that their coordination and forecasts don't update regularly enough. I hope we get a good deal of rain tommorrow to help out with the drought. ...8^)...Ev
