March is making up for our pathetic winter, no doubt. It was springlike today with a high near 60. Around 8:30 tonight a cold front SLAMMED through our area from west to east dropping temps dramatically from the low 50s to the mid 30s. Snow followed after about 30 minutes. Wind chills are in the teens now and will stay that way for tonight and tommorrow. Could this be the last shot of cold. This shot tonight is actually colder than most of the temps we had all winter. I heard some guys on the Winter Weather Bulletin board saying that many times in history when theres a warm winter, a cool spring will follow. I hope not.
It will slowly moderate this weekend with brilliantly sunny skies and highs in the 40s. The march sun will make it feel warmer than that so get some outdoor activities planned if you can. Our next chance of rain is late Sunday night or early Monday. This could be another soaker...still too far to be certain tho...8^)...Ev
