Today&Future Forecast Summary

910:15 PM: Temp 43F, DP 25F, RH 49%, 1018.7 mb, calm, vis 10 mi, 10% crs, none

The sun and calm winds made it feel warm today. When I was working on the lawn, just had a t-shirt on for the 1st time this year. The rollercoaster will return tommorrow with highs not getting out of the 30s. The high temp will come tonight as a backdoor cold front moves through the region. Locations north and west of here are dealing with winterlike readings. Lows last night were around zero in International Falls, Mn. That's some of the coldest air ALL winter season up that way. Strange how their getting it after spring began. Winter Storm watches, warnings, and advisories are posted accross Pa and Ny. Snow is falling lightly there now. It will accumulate an inch or two tonight and then fall heavier tommorrow afternoon. Around here we could even see some snow mixing in with the rain at times. If the precip comes down hard enough it would likely go all snow and whiten the ground. However, once it lightens up it would go back to rain during the day with the stronger March sun getting through the clouds. Tommorrow night could stay all snow giving an inch or so. By that point, the cold front may start retreating northward as a warm front changing everything to snow eventually. Watch out Poconos, wintry weather surely will affect your area Tongiht through tommorrow night.

A last note deals with some strange water along the sw coast of Florida. Starting several months ago, BLACK water was discovered by fishermen and satelites in that region. The black water grew larger than the Lake Ocachobee for a while. Currently it is dissapating with the surrounding normal water. No one is certain what the black water is. It appears gooey, but is not showing significant fish kills. However, there are few fish inside this water giving fisherman headaches. Tests are being conducted to determine whether its some kind of plant, animal, or bacterial bloom. Noone has ever seen anything like this before apparently. weeeeird. sounds like hte x-files...8^)...Ev
