Today&Future Forecast Summary11:07 PM: Temp 49F, DP 34F, RH 56%, 1032.4 mb, nne 3, vis 10 mi, 0% clouds, none Today was amazing. The warm April sun diminished any cold effects to the north wind today. Highs reached the 60s. It was a great day to have off from work. Weather across the nation was tranquil today besides some showers along the southeast coast and the upper midwest. Our next chance of rain has gotten bumped up a day in todays model runs. Right now it appears that a chance of showers will arrive on Saturday and continue through Monday. I don't give a shit if this screws up anyones weekend plans cause we need the rain. I want to look out our back window and see the garden ull of colors from the different flowers/trees we have. Plus, I hate looking at the Auto Repair shop across the woods, and the more rain we get, the thicker the bush/trees get so it'll block the view. After this weekend, we should start feeling the brunt of spring. Instead of 60s, 70s will become more common as the average temperature creeps up each day along with the hours of sunshine in a day. Daylight savings is a godsend. It makes my once nightclass a dayclass. It's different pulling into the parking lot during the day still compared to 2 months+ in the dark. Ok, the weather won't get interesting until later this week around here. However, out west a large storm system will move in the NW coast later this week and weekend. The storm will bring snow/rain to the central and northern rockies. This is a common track for strong spring storms that produce tornado outbreaks in the midwest and Mississippi valley. Possibly Monday or Tuesday we could be looking at the first hardcore severe outbreak of the season. It's definatly going to get interesting. In the meantime, enjoy the nice weather through Friday...8^)...Ev |
