Today&Future Forecast Summary

11:15 PM: Temp 81F, DP 55F, RH 42%, 1016.3 mb, sw 3 mph, vis 10 mi, 0% clouds, none

Even though the official high at this nearby station, Pottstown, only hit 91, MANY OTHER PLACES reached the mid 90s today and broke all-time records for the ENTIRE month of April. It hit 95 in Philly, and 96 in NYC!!! The only positive point to all of this was that the humidity was less than yesterday. Instead of a dull gray haze, there was a beautiful blue sky.

Severe weather was not as widespread today. Central New England, central Tx, and isolated areas of the Appalachians got hammered. One astounding report I heard came from NC. They had 6" of hail on the ground from a storm! That must be quite a site and did a good deal of damage. I wouldn't care how dented up the car was if I got to witness a storm that powerful. There doesn't look to be a large threat for severe weather across the Phlad. Metropolitan Area the next several days. However, some ISOLATED showers and Storms are possible. Tommorrow will still be unseasonably mild, but a steady cooldown will prevail through the weekend. By Sunday highs will only be aorund 60....ahhhhh Spring returns 8^)...Ev
