RAIN RAIN RAIN FINALLY! A low approached the area yesterday from the midwest and brought us a few hours of steady rain. I'm guessing .25-.50 all in all. That's not bad considering we've had jack shit for months. Get this, it's snowing now in Scranton / New England. There was only a few inches in the higher terrain, but it was 90+ degrees a few days ago. DAMN! That's dramatic.
Even in a drought, the grass, trees, shrubs, you name it is growing like crazy. I had to dump the mower 8 times yesterday at my mom's office. And I just mowed the place last week. Temps will slowly rebound tommorrow and Wednesday. The next chance of rain comes Thurs as a front approaches. We could get some PM t-storms if its warm enough and there's some descent instability/lift. 8^)...Ev
