It warmed up today a good deal from yesterday. The high pressure that had been over top of us is moving to the east and allowing southwest winds to bring in some warmer air. The remainder of this week will be up and down weatherwise with little in the way of precip. High temps will fluctuate from the low 60s to the low 40s. The extended forecast is beginning to look more favorable for COLLLLLLLD weather and SNOW! I hope it gets here sooner than later. Other than that I haven't paid enough attention to the weather throughout the rest of the US and the world. All I remember from the news is that Vietnam got SOCKED by a typhoon and many people died probably from floods. Those typhoons get tough over there. Thank God the Atlantic is more tranquil than there, at least for now it is. Florida had a close call with Hurricane Michelle a couple weeks ago. That's really a shame that Cuba sustained a direct impact. They don't have any money and all that destruction is going to hurt the people in the long term economically. Ok, I'll try to get more info on US/World weather in the coming days and weeks. Have a good day...Ev 8^)
