Tommorrow's Forecast Summary
Today&Tommorrow's Forecast SummaryCurrently at 11:24 PM it's 34degrees with a dewpoint of 19. Humidity is at 56 percent, pressure is 1017.5mb, wind is nnw @8mph, and there's no clouds in the sky. Today was a letdown as far as snow is concerned. There apparently were a good deal of snow flurries and squalls around today. Shawn just told me that out in Selinsgrove they had a snow squall today that coated the ground for a while, lucky bastard. The one positive thing about today was that temperatures dropped all day long! When I was driving home from school tonight we passed by the local ski slope and I'm almost positive they were blowing snow! I have to break out the skis and get them waxed/sharpened asap. Maybe this year I'll finally get a season pass. Anyways, in the meantime before winter it's going to be boring the next couple of days. The next chance of precip comes on Thanksgiving night, however that should be finished with by morning. If you're home from school, Friday will be the last nice day of the week. After that a descent sized rainstorm could move in from a low from the southwest. I think the lows going to track to our north and temps will have moderated enough by then to rule out any serious ice or snow, damn. The best chance of any frozen precip won't come until the middle of next week, but that's still way in the future and no forecast models are that good. The MRF and ECMWF are fun to look at and dreamn, but the change drastically on a daily basis. If you want a good kick go onto http://www.accuweather.com put in your zip code and you'll get a 15 day forecast! How ridiculous is that seriously. The long-range forecast changes so drastically on a daily basis. It's just fun to see snow and highs only at 30. Well...that's enough for tonight...check back tommorrow for more weather.....Ev 8^) |
