Today&Future Forecast Summary

Cold air has moved in over the area. Almost all of the customers at the bank were complaining of the wind and cold. You know it's a warm winter when the temps in the 40s and people are complaining. The storms scheduled for next week have given serious headaches too forecasters. They have switched their forecasts at least 2-3 times since beginning. Even when they say that the models are NOW in agreement, they start disagreeing again. It seems that the models need some seriuos updating. Dr. Gary Gray was saying that the models are too reliant on particular events rather than many. Also, he said that they need to know what the current conditions are. Because sometimes the current model positions or even 6-12 hours make absolutely no sense. It seems that the west coast is still "data void" and hard to forecast where, when, and how storms will develop over the Mountains.
Rain will move in Sunday night with some ice possibly mixed in for a time considering the dewpoints are low. The rain will end by Monday. Coder air will follow behind and the forecasts are up in the air from Christmas Day on...8^)...Ev
