JAMES STACY plays the father of a teenage boy who aspires to be a concert pianist. His role is unfortunately too small in this 1990 tv-movie. The unhappy father lost his arm and leg in Vietnam and doesn't want his son to be a musician, but rather follow the family lead and go into the hardware business. Jane Seymour is the dying music composer who takes the young man into bed as well as her world of overtures and concertos. There is a nicely written scene where the teenager is about to leave and his father tries to explain why they always argued. |
