Baka: First off, what can you tell me about yourself?
AJ: I'm imaginative, somewhat sarcastic, but friendly at the same time.

Baka: That's the stupidest thing you've ever done?
AJ: I'd have to say it was the time I hooked an innertube up to the back of a friend's car. The roads were icy, so we were sliding down the street having a blast. Then he turned into what looked like an empty parking lot at 30mph. There was a parked car in the way unseen to us, and as he turned, I went smack dab into the side of that car.

Baka: What would you say is your greatest personal triumph?
AJ: Remembering a word of Japanese! Just kidding...

Baka: What are a few of your favorite things (food, movies, music, etc.) ?
AJ: Anime, pizza, girls, and rpgs (role-playing games).

Baka: Do you idolize anyone?
AJ: A super cute girl that I know, but alas I don't think she likes me...

Baka: What was your first encounter with SMJ like?
AJ: Fun!

Baka: Are there any characters you would say stand out in your opinion from the rest? How so?
AJ: Cherry. Shes the only one without *cough* boobs...

Baka: How many times have you seen the SM series'?
AJ: 3-4 times.

Baka: Given the chance, what would you have made different in the original SMJ story?
AJ: I would change it so that there were more episodes dedicated to humor, rather than the not so good action sided plot.

Baka: What sort of SMJ Merchandise do you own?
AJ: [Saber Marionette J] on DVD, and an SMJ Again CD.

Baka: What sort of things do you like to do to get in the mood for writing?
AJ: Listening to music that i think would work well in the story or a good idea i have just randomly thought of.

Baka: Do you read fanfic yourself? If so, are there any specific stories out there you would highly recommend to others?
AJ: I read fanfiction. "Strangers in a Strange Land" by Christofer Olsen is a great fic (SMJ/Ranma 1/2 crossover)

Baka: Have you ever written a fic you thought little of, only to have readers praise it?
AJ: Yes.

Baka: Are there any plans for your future fanfiction writing?
AJ: Yes. I'm actually behind schedule on my next SMJ fic!

Baka: Are you more comfortable writing serious or humorous stories?
AJ: Both.

Baka: How long in estimate does/would it take you to write a full fanfic?
AJ: It really depends on how good I feel my idea is. I'd say 3 months or so.

Baka: What would you say are the most important traits a writer should have?
AJ: Dedication to the story, creativity, and originality.

Baka: What is your stance on Yaoi/Yuri (guy+guy and girl+girl relationship) fics?
AJ: Being a guy, I'd say I don't mind yuri, but yaoi is nasty poo.

Baka: Do you have any questions to ask me?
AJ: I only have one question that I can think of immediately. Are crossovers alright, like SMJ/(random) ?
Baka: Are crossovers 'alright'? Hmm, let me give this a little thought. Crossovers, where elements and characters from one story are intermixed with others are by all means fine. In these fanworks, we are able to see characters which may seem completely out of place in another anime actually fit in and thrive like it was always possible. Not only that, but it gives us the chance to merge interests, bringing together two stories in one. The downside to the crossover is that it limits your audience more than a normal fic. I for one would most likely skip over a story if it involved unfamiliar characters and elements to it, and even in reading, half the story has already lost its impact on me if this case is so. So, are they 'alright'? Just as 'alright' as any other fanfic would be! :)
