"Here it comes," Blood Berry smirked, watching the raging mess of steel break its way through the mountains, and into her trap. "You guys ready?"

Atop her own mountain, Lime could see and hear the red-haired vixen as if she were right next to her, thanks to the advanced systems included in the JSM design. She raised her hand to signal she was ready.

Cherry did the same, still unsure at this unusual setup. It wasn't often when she would agree to one of Blood Berry's decisions, but she had faith in her companion, if only this one time. This huge beast heading their way may have been grounded, but it sure hadn't stopped its movement. The Behemoth had carved through a mountain already, but surely the force of three wouldn't be deflected so easily.

As the Colossus emerged to dig its way past their underside, Blood Berry hollered at the top of her voice for the others to proceed. Immediately the three marionettes diverted their full energy towards chipping off the upper portion of their mountains, causing a deadly shower of boulders to rain down on their opponent.

The Behemoth had been noisy enough, carving its path of destruction, but even that was now drowned out as the mountains called out in pain, the rockslide its method of communication. Great clouds of dust reached out from below to expand out above the mountain range in one last smoke signal before fading away. The Behemoth had long disappeared from view, the barrage of the three mountains continuing to slide into one new mound.

Cherry, Lime, and Blood Berry surveyed the remaining wreckage, standing far above where the original ground had stood. All three stood at attention, ready at any moment for the machination to once again best their earnest efforts.

"It worked," Lime simply said.

Cherry raised a hand, her scanners sweeping the mass beneath her feet. "Wait..." her voice receded. "The Behemoth's still active."

Lorelei's voice came over the air waves and into their receptors at the same time they registered slight tremors from underneath. "Movement once again."

"It's burrowing through the ground," Cherry expanded upon the statement.

SABER MARIONETTE J vs M

EPISODE 13

"HURRY ON TO VICTORY!"

by Baka-Matt-Su

Baiko stared out at the edge of Japones' border, hands gripping tightly on her belt. Behind her, the full complement of Castle Japones stood at attention, hundreds of sabers ready to enter battle at a moment's notice. Hearing the defeatist cries of Lime, Cherry, and Blood Berry over her radio receiver, she checked her squad over again, confirming the entire attendance.

From the analysis of the situation, a direct attack would be useless against the Behemoth. If timing became too crucial, she had determined the sacrifice of herself and the army would be more than enough to contain much of the blast. For Lorelei, it would be more than worth it.

Still, her logic circuits were in overdrive. As hard as it was to grasp what humans called "emotion", she felt disappointment in the three marionette's performance. Something had made her come to believe those three were unbeatable. Obviously, that something had been incorrect.

"We are in position," she voiced into her internal comlink.

The war room was silent, Lorelei and Otaru watching the blip move further and further away from Lime, Cherry, and Blood Berry. Neither had any emotional support to lend to the other.

Tamasaburo approached the table without any remorse. "Lorelei, the troops are ready. Should the Behemoth emerge at the target area as planned, they will do their job."

Lorelei nodded, though inside she disapproved of the last ditch kamikaze attack. The two guards had somehow convinced her that if it had to be done, it would be their only choice.

"This whole thing makes no sense," Otaru cursed under his breath. Hadn't the Mesopotamia let them go of its own will?

That was something he hadn't been able to do. Too many times in his mind he was faced with that re-occurring moment when the three had stood there, calmly saying their good-byes. Cursing them, fighting with all his might to break free, it had been the moment he most dreaded - separation. There was nothing he could do to stop them, helplessly cut off.

They had come back, though, as if it was all a dream. Returned to him safe and sound from the unfeeling blackness of space, apparently due the Mesopotamia's sudden turn of feelings.

And now that reality was fading once again, the nightmare of a dream returning to haunt him. But this time, he had the chance to change things. There was nothing holding him back from rushing out to join them. No restraints. No limitations. However, his feet firmly set in the ground where he stood refusing to move - something kept him back from his surging emotions. The tingling feeling of that dream ever changing from his view.

"Thirteen minutes to the Behemoth's rendezvous with the army," Lorelei broke the silence, noting Otaru deep in thought. This whole thing was impacting him more than she could ever imagine. His bondage to Lime, Cherry, and Blood Berry had been noticably strong, but it had never come through so clearly to her as it did now. She secretly wondered how he had managed to survive the emotional storm that had passed not that long ago. And she also began to wonder if he could survive another...

The three remained as statues for a sweeping moment, the night blanketing around the mess of thrown rock and stone. None had managed to suggest any new plans of action, nor did it seem they were ready to.

"Otaru," Lime pouted. "I'm sorry."

"Too strong," Cherry whispered. "That armor's too thick."

"Dammit," Blood Berry said in disbelief. "We can't just stand here like this. But, we can't take this thing. It won't stop for anything."

More silence.

"We can't give up, can we?" Lime tried, but not convincingly. "We can never give up..."

"Of course we can't," Cherry answered, also sounding like she didn't believe what she said. "We've always seen it through."

"Right," Blood Berry jumped in with melancholy. "But the Saber dolls, the Zauberburg, and even Saber Beast Leopard were tolerable. This thing could stand up to a full-fledged tactical strike and walk away without a scratch."

"Ten minutes remaining," Lorelei's voice began breaking up with static.

"Hold on, Lorelei, we're getting some interference," Blood Berry informed her, turning to change her frequency.

Cherry snapped to attention.

"What is it, Cherry?" Lime turned in surprise.

Cherry didn't answer at first. "It's not static, it's another signal on a close frequency. Tune in you two."

They did as she told them and soon heard the seemingly random tones of broadcast.

"It's encrypted," she explained. "But I've managed to decode it."

Blood Berry was genuinely interested. "What is it?"

"A countdown sequence, and route. The Behemoth is remotely receiving instructions."

"You mean that thing's not acting on its own?" Blood Berry concluded.

"Exactly."

Lime tapped her head. "If someone's telling it what to do, how come it went after us when we first got to it?"

The other two looked at her as if she were a genius, then exchanged excited looks.

"Somehow we threw off the signal," Cherry beamed.

"When our circuits were synchronized..." the other shot back.

Otaru began to say something, but static overwhelmed his voice.

A serious face took form on Cherry's visage. "We don't have much time. Eight minutes until detonation. We have to link our thoughts together to bring this thing back here."

The other two grimly knew what this meant. They would bring the beast back in their direction - and the coming blast.

Linking together, the circuits began working in harmony, slowing to an equal pace, the systems combining into one total being.

"Are you guys alright?!" he began panicking, trying to send the message again.

Lorelei put a reassuring arm around his shoulder. "I'm sure they're just fine, Otaru. They're out of the Behemoth's way now. It's just a little interference."

He turned, and she could see genuine fear hiding behind his stone gaze. He was good at hiding his emotions all right, but she had scientifically studied them for far too long not to recognize them.

"You're right, Lorelei. I should be more concerned with us."

Tamasaburo folded her arms. "There is no reason to have any concerns. The Behemoth will be stopped. At any cost."

He turned back to the tactical display, a slight nervous shake coming over him. "How much longer?"

Lorelei hadn't been watching for those few moments, and was now running a hand through her hair in contemplation. "It's moving away."

"Away?" Otaru glanced at the moving blip. "It's going straight for..."

"...Lime, Cherry, Blood Berry..."

"Get out of there!" he yelled into the comlink, static snow replying.

He slammed the equipment down, first turning away from the table, then finding it impossible to keep away. "Idiots," he murmured, hating himself immediately afterwards for saying such a thing.

The three dots on the other side stayed in their exact position as the Behemoth bore down on them. At the climax, there was nothing, but the sudden loss of communication. The entire board shorted out, the ground slightly shifting from a tremor, a slight quake from the distant explosion. And Otaru merely slumped over the table, arms outstretched, fingers uncurling from fists, and flailing miserably about.

"Otaru," Lorelei's womanly voice soothed the air. "I'm sure they weren't in that blast."

His answer was hard to hear, wafting from the side of his glazed face. "Where is he?"

"'He'?"

With great effort, he rose from the display to stand semi-upright. "The man who worked for the Mesopotamia. Where is he being kept?"

He was angry now, his attempts at hiding his emotion for them suddenly that much clearer. It was a common early response to fear. "Kenji?" she asked.

"Take me to him him, now," he walked past Lorelei, then faced the towering Tamasaburo.

The guard made no connection. "I highly advise against such a thing."

Otaru's eyes narrowed. "I don't care. You're taking him to me - now."

Terra II's new crater was painted with a billowing char of thick black smoke. The Behemoth had tore a large hole into the surface, leaving a large drilled path to a flowing plasma deposit. Even now, the morning break sky was darkening into a foreboding plasma storm.

Beneath lay the three bodies, twisted, contorted, and inactive. Half buried in rubble, Blood Berry's systems slowly came to life.

As she came conscious, she winced in pain, aware of the other two groaning to life. Despite her unbearable situation, she smiled. Moments ago, she actively could have said that they sacrificed themselves way too regularly for her tastes. The feeling of victory was sweet, though. Enough to offset that killing agony sweeping her back and arms. But not enough to pull the same stunt again any time soon.

"You two alright?" she managed, at the sound of the others slight groans. Standing up, she could see half of her outer skin around her thighs had been burned off. Peeling the unsightly scar off, she was once again reminded of the metal frame that lied beneath - her true self as a machine.

Cherry was first to answer, her long hair mismanaged and out of place, gripping onto her shoulder joint with her left hand. She slid a large flat piece of shrapnel off of herself. "I'm still okay. The right side of my inertial systems aren't working too well however."

Lime jumped out from under her own pile, looking like she was hit the lightest. Still, it was evident she had taken a fair amount of damage, as her knees buckled from her landing, sending her sliding down further into the crater.

"Lime!" Blood Berry peered down, one arm gripping a large boulder so she wouldn't fall in herself.

The sound of sliding rock abruptly halted, and Lime's kid voice echoed from out of sight. "It's okay! I'm fine!"

Blood Berry titled her head to look over to Cherry. "We don't have much time to lose. Did you manage to trace that signal before that thing blew?"

Cherry winced. "The control signal for the Behemoth? Not really, but I got its general direction. Based on the geographic location, I can narrow it down to a single crash site. Mesopotamia is there. I'm sure of it."

"You know what we have to do then," she prompted.

Cherry nodded. "We have to get to the root of all this before there is any retaliatory action. We have to face the Mesopotamia for the second time."

Kenji watched the sunrise with a suspicious silence, one arm draped over his leg, the other tapping against those cold stone walls which held him. This dank dungeon was old, built in the early settlement of the country, before the civilization was able to grow to the technology man had achieved. He thought it stunk.

In this dim room, he could barely see those metal bars which entrapped him. In the darkness, it was almost as if he were free. Almost as if this whole cell block were just a temporary haven to rest, away from the intruding sunlight.

The darkness could always be chased out, however. Soon, with the rising sun, it would recede once more, hiding in the crumbling walls - waiting to once again rule the night when the sun no longer cared.

Kenji rose from his thoughts to the sound of the door opening once more. As it had last night, it stirred unpleasant ideas in his head as that artificial light invaded his natural surroundings.

He had been expecting Lorelei, and the saber guard as well. The boy, however...

"What of the Behemoth?" he inquired, as the three assembled in lineup. Lorelei stood forward, and between the others, Tamasaburo a few steps to her right, and Otaru settled against the far wall.

The youth was quite agitated. "Why don't you tell us?"

"Otaru, please," Lorelei irked.

Kenji showed no recognition of Otaru's insolent mannerism, traversing the short trip from his bench to the cell's gate. "I am afraid that all this time I have been misunderstood. I mean no malice. I merely wanted to warn you of the impending danger. Your presence must mean something terrible has happened. I didn't have any idea things were to turn out so badly."

Otaru folded his arms roughly, leaning back against the wall. "Sure you didn't."

Lorelei stepped a little closer. "We lost sign of the Behemoth roughly ten minutes ago."

She then decided to add, "our friends have disappeared as well."

He gripped the bars in his hands, lowering his head. "Your friends? From his conduct, I suppose they were important to you."

Otaru stood up, eyebrows rocketing. "Important, you suppose? You could never know what I'm feeling right now. I'd have rather it be me who had gone right now than them. I'm the one who should have been there. They were important, but far more so than that word gives justice to."

He didn't move, hands shaking where they grasped the bars. "Self-sacrifice is the highest form. I suppose I am the one at fault. I failed to revolt in time to save them."

Lorelei moved up to the cell, placing her hands over his, and noticing their roughness. "Don't blame yourself. It isn't anyone's fault. If you hadn't done what you had, we all would have been in trouble."

She could feel his hands gently take hers into his own, and then...

He instantly jerked her closer to the cell's bars, taking hold around her neck and lifted her into the air. She began struggling to breathe, inescapably twisting to loosen his hold.

"Infidel!" Tamasaburo charged without contemplation, her halberd appearing out of thin air. The guard leapt at him stabbing the sharp energy weapon into his leg.

He made no recognition of the weapon as he looked in Lorelei's squashed face. "You are far too naïve, Lorelei. You allowed me easy access past all of your defenses. You fell directly into my trap by sending those three off to die, and then even gave me the chance to finish you off for good."

Otaru floundered for his own weapon, caught off guard.

"Release her at once!" Tamasaburo ordered, twisted the weapon to tear through his muscles. There was no blood, however, instead a mass of cables inside, underneath that lifelike skin.

"He- He's a marionette," Otaru stammered, recovering quickly.

Kenji took one hand away from the grip, still able to handle the woman with his other. Tugging at the halberd, he broke it in half, causing a shower of sparks from it to fly over the royal guard.

"K-Ke..." Lorelei choked out to him.

He focused back on his captive, a cold stare taking on her tear-filled eyes. His grip unyielding, he pulled her close enough for her choking face to press against the cold steel bars. "It would be an ignoble death would it not, Lorelei? To have the life squeezed from you before fulfilling any of your heart's desires? Ceasing to hold that special status as the sole surviving female of Terra II?"

She couldn't answer, her vision losing focus.

He pulled again, this time crashing her against it. "No, your time hasn't come yet. I may have need of you later."

Kenji sprung his hand forward, releasing his grip, and sending Lorelei back into Otaru's unready arms.

"I got you," he breathed in astonishment, Jitten blade dropped as he dashed to save her.

Lorelei didn't answer, gasping to take in breaths, once again welcoming the taste of oxygen.

Kenji tore open the bars in his way, stepping free from bondage as easily as he could have hours ago. He turned slightly at Tamasaburo's approach.

The marionette rushed him from behind, but he twisted at the guard's arrival, grabbing hold of her arm and throwing her back into his cell. "Enough games," he taunted, standing at the gateway. "Show me what you can really do."

The guard straightened, eyes glowering at her taunting opponent. "You and the Mesopotamia are the ones who play games. Understand this, vile one. This attack will end now."

He raised an eyebrow at her challenge. "This attack ends when I will it to."

Tamasaburo's feet dug into the ground as she leapt forward at the other. He met her attack with his own, the two locking hands in an attempt to bring the other down. Kenji was slowly giving way to the other's determination.

"I'm not built for this kind of pressure," he stated as she pushed him back further. He gave way, allowing the other to force him out of the cell and to the center of the room. His right hand reached into his garments to hold his chest.

The royal guard moved to put herself between him and Lorelei. "It seems we have the upper hand, now."

He bent down further and headed again in her direction, his hand flashing from his clothing in the quick forward slash of a kodachi. The small knife cleanly cut through his target, but didn't stop there. Twisting it as it neared the end of its journey, Kenji sent it in again, ripping back in an opposing direction. Finally, a third step followed, all three striking so fast that is seemingly melded into one blur of a scene. The third blow hit home, managing to cut through Tamasaburo's power cabling. Before she could sense it coming, she floated down to the clammy earth, power gone.

Otaru's adrenaline was rising, and the youth shook Lorelei hard. She had blacked out, but was breathing, even if only barely. "Lorelei! Lorelei!"

A shadow covered the two as Kenji stepped past Tamasaburo to stare down at them. "Now, Otaru Mamiya, it is your turn."

Reaching out from the cliff's far side, the command center resembled a train wreck. Once intact, the original structure had stood well above ground level in its more prosperous lifetime. Now, under the shifting instability of Terra II's ever-changing seaweed core, the supports had given way. But, with superior Geltish design, the actual frame had remained intact. It was here that the Mesopotamia had settled, working under the cover of ruination.

The fifth vessel of Earth's evacuation had made some improvements as well, its miniature self-automated repair units working to build several additions bigger than the main unit itself. The noise of hundreds of moving robotic extensions permeated the area.

Blood Berry brushed her open wiring with her hand, absentmindedly. "The Mesopotamia's in there, alright."

Cherry fell down to her knees, grabbing her arm, and causing the lead to stare back at her.

"Stop that, Cherry. You're making me nervous."

"I can't help it," came her irritated response.

Lime jumped in from behind, but without her usual oomph, a sad look on her face. "How can you be sure Mesopotamia is here, Blood Berry?"

She stepped towards the building, but stopped. The motion noise that had dominated the area had stopped.

Cherry's hand let go of her arm and she straightened. Blood Berry took on a similar pose, looking to Lime matter-of-factly. Seconds later, the main doors wrenched open of their own accord, opening up into a darkened passageway. "Do we go in?" Lime shrugged.

"We've come this far," Cherry stated the obvious. "There's really no point in turning back."

The inside was warm, a direct contrast to the cold of space. The last time they made such as journey was completely different. Then, on that ship itself, they had felt closer than ever to Otaru, giving it all away for him. There, amidst the blazing cannons and defenses of the Meospotamia, the only warmth radiated from within.

This was a far different scene. It felt so far from Otaru, in this foreign machine which was radiating its own heat. And within, their own hearts were chilled from having to face that nightmare again. And that nightmare, the Mesopotamia, once again well aware of their approach, but making no effort to stop them. Perhaps it knew from its previous attempts that it couldn't. Then again, perhaps it wanted them to get to itself.

At the heart of the base was an open room, far larger than it could have originally been. It encompassed several meeting rooms of original Geltland design which had been gutted to form its overall shape. Several terminals were wedged at each corner of the room, each in turn supporting a mess of extensions ultimately leading up to the ceiling. At the back of the room was that massice red core, a dark blood red radiating with its own will. Upon their entrance, the three marionettes were startled by a deep voice which couldn't be traced to any one source. It seemed to resonate from around them, filling the area with a rough, artificial sound.

"Welcome."

Cherry looked into that blazing light before venturing a guess. "Mesopotamia?"

"The same," the voice answered. "I am sorry to have not presented myself in a more customary manner. I have not fully recovered my systems yet."

"But, you are talking?"

It boomed from about them again. "I thought it would be more in your interests if I spoke freely."

Blood Berry rolled her right hand into a fist. "That's all good and well, but we're not here for fun and games. Mesopotamia, we're taking you down!"

There was a pause, though short-lived. "I don't understand."

"Understand?" She buried her fist into the nearest terminal, microchips spilling about. "Who said anything about you needing to understand?"

"Hold on, Blood Berry," Lime held down her fist.

"Hold on? Isn't this what we've come all this way to do?"

"You've come to destroy me?" The Mesopotamia reasoned aloud. "But I haven't finished yet!"

"Exactly!" Blood Berry shoved Lime aside.

Cherry's finger inadvertently found its way to her mouth. "Wait, Blood Berry." She looked around at the mess of cables, avoiding the core as if merely looking at it could cause harm. "It doesn't have to be this way, Mesopotamia. Whatever you're trying to do to this planet, stop it. Don't you have any compassion?"

A ripple of light red coursed through the core.

"Compassion? Of course. How could I have come to know love without compassion? However, out there, in that blackness of space, there was no such thing as compassion for the longest time."

Lime's feet scratched against the metallic flooring. "How did you do it, Mesopotamia? How could you hurt so many people? How could you take Lorelei?"

Another ripple.

"I loved her. Humans reason love to be a positive emotion, one that fills the soul with joy and happiness. This is untrue. Love is not solely beneficial. Love can also bring great pain and sadness."

Lime felt tears come to her eye, remembering almost the same words come from Tiger before she collapsed to the ground, damaged from what had seemed to be beyond repair.

As the core became still once more, the Mesopotamia continued. "It can be quite painful to have feelings for someone who doesn't return them. It can stir the rational mind, make it erratic. It is all 'love', as I have worked it all out."

"You can't work something like love out," Cherry reasoned. "It's not just a scientific principle."

"No," the voice continued, seeming colder and colder each time Cherry heard it. "I admit it is extremely random at times, and different under several conditions. Still, I have worked out the details over time."

"Details?" Blood Berry spat, cracking her knuckles. "Sounds like you don't know a thing, Messie..."

She could almost swear she could her some anger in his next reply as the core darkened. "I don't know a thing? You're the one who doesn't know a thing. You've never had your lover ripped out of your grasp! You never felt what I did when the three of you came forward, hearts pounding in sync, beating to the sound of love lost! I felt your pain amplified from four directions.

"As you reached forward to give away your hearts, on the outside you were smiling. On the outside, there were words of reassurance. 'It's meant to be. Human with human. Machine with machine.' On the outside, it was the ending to a fairy tale. The closing of a misguided tale. It was all a façade.

"Inside you weren't smiling, but crying. All through that emotional blockade you didn't want to do that, didn't want to give up the only thing that mattered to you.

"Do you know the emotional weight of three troubled souls? Far heavier than anything else imaginable. It tore at my own heart, eating away at me, raining out in the form of tears. The only release was to give up my own treasure, the one thing I cared for in the cosmos. You happily tore out my soul. Tore out my being. But...I thank you for this."

"Thank...us?" Lime sniffed, trying to picture how it feel to be in so much pain, yet having to give up Otaru at the same time.

The red began to lighten.

"You three showed the error in my ways. You explained love to me on a greater level than ever before. You showed all the dark emotions that wouldn't exist without love. You once again gave me a purpose."

"Give it up, Mesopotamia," Blood Berry snarled. "You're not getting anywhere near Lorelei. This world needs her to go back to the natural way of things. We've forfeited so much to get her, and we're not about to let you take us back half a millenium all over again."

Silence. Then a mild laughing, the closest to one a machine could make. "True, I still have feelings for Lorelei, but that isn't what I'm after."

He paused to leave them in suspense before continuing. "I intend to set things right once more. There are far too many disasters caused by emotion. War. Suffering. Jealousy. Greed. Hate. I have had the chance to experience all of these things in my own mind, and in those inhabitants around us. Without these, the world we live in would be paradise - a complete haven for those calling it home."

Lime rubbed her hands together, feeling the room beginning to chill. "But how can you get rid of those?"

"By destroying emotion itself. The immigrants will go first. And then, Lorelei's design. Your otome circuits, and myself."

"You are insane," Cherry whispered. "You'll destroy everything!"

"I'll destroy nothing!" the computer belted, the light seeming to burn brighter than before. "I will only do what is right, and end the torment for everyone! I have felt this world's pain, and will do what is needed, do what is right to ease that pain!"

"I've heard enough," came Blood Berry's response as she kicked another terminal aside on her way to the core.

"You can't deny it. Don't be so foolish. Free yourselves from the enslavement to one insignificant man. Face the evil while you still can."

Cherry stood silent, shocked by the Mesopotamia's speech. Evil? It couldn't be true, but the Mesopotamia was convinced of it. Lime was not far away, a huge knot in her stomach. As they remained that way, Blood Berry ignored the comments, continuing to pull apart the room, terminal by terminal. Ultimately, she took hold of the mass of wires, tearing them free from restraint.

The core briefly dimmed to a pink, weakening with its lost power source.

"Mesopotamia," Lime exhaled.

"I once felt sorry for you," Cherry faced the lifeless core. "And I still do. Having your loved one ripped away was enough to make you crazy. If I had been in your place, nothing would have been different."

She stared into that mellow core, and it didn't help her way of thinking one bit. Though silent, she could see it slowly dying, lightening at first, before fading away into total darkness.

"Looks like your guard isn't so useless after all," Kenji looked down to the unconscious Otaru. "She called back the infantry from the border." Around the corner, he could hear the quaking of an entire kika sentry unit rumbling to cut off the escape route nearby. He had carried his prisoner out to the castle's courtyard, at ease with his Katana, reclaimed from the prison repository.

He needed no manmade exit to leave this dwelling. With even strikes of his blade he cut a man-sized hole into the wall, returning his blade instantly to his side. He looked down again at the crumpled figure in his arms. "Now we find out just how special you are, boy. Soon you'll be nothing more than a memory."

AUTHOR'S NOTES: One month later, one story, and one revision, it's finally here, and I'm still not happy with the result. Here, the story shifts a bit as Mesopotamia exits center stage, and the marionette Kenji takes over. On one hand, I'm ready to unleash the second half of J vs M, since the stage is almost set for my drastic twist of fate. On the other, I feel like I'm running out of steam. Fear not, I've got my hands full with plenty of things, but I'm seeing this one through to the end. *sigh* On a lighter note, my website re-vamp may be a little longer ways to go... Oh well, stay tuned for the next half of J vs M this coming year, and Happy Holidays...

*NEXT EPISODE*

Blood Berry here. Whaat?! Otaru's gone! I'm getting tired of all this running around. It gets worse. On the way to get him back, we run into some old "friends". Out of my way, you two! Next time, on Saber Marionette J vs M, "Not Over Yet! Strike A Truce!" Otaru, I love you!

*NOTES REGARDING THE SERIAL*

This series is a Fan-fiction serial. Serial is how some books used to be written, or radio programs were broadcast. That is, they were released chapter by chapter, much like some on-going television series. The benefit for a serial over a regular novel is the allowance for change from the original plot line. In a serial, readers can write in to the author with ideas and requests in order for the story to go in the direction they would like it to go. So what am I blubbering about? If you enjoyed what you read, let me know, and tell me what you'd like to see in an upcoming episode. Mail me at emmaworshiper@hotmail.com, and put SMJ somewhere in your subject... Oh, and SMJvsM takes place after the original 25 episodes, but prior to 26 (J Again)...Finally, I have only knowledge from those two series, and a bit from J to X, so don't complain if some of my information may be inconsistent. I'd love to hear from ya, so drop me a line. See you next time!
