Neo3 Piloswine
X-Act
This is a pretty impressive card. It _may_ be a force to be reckoned with in MMF... erm... Modified ;x It can heal its self damage O_O. And... 90HP is HUGE for a Stage 1 :D. VERY Nice :)

OK OK. Let's look at the attack cost now. @_@... *dies*

That's the only problem with this Pokemon. Really. It takes too long to power up this guy. AND when (and, if) you DO manage to power it up, and do that 80 damage, you need to... skip a turn :( That's like, BAD. If you think about it, it's like doing 40 damage every turn. For that cost, it's not good. Actually, "il est tres horrible" :( OMG... it also does 30 damage to itself??? *resigns*

Erm... it _is definitely NOT_ a force to be reckoned with in Modified. :(

All things considered, let's look at the ratings now. ^_^

Standard Rating: 4/10 Hmm. What a pity. Although it's a Fighting Pokemon, which is good in this format (there are so many Pokemon that are weak to Fighting), it gets SERed, Slashed (Scyther =/), Beaten Up, and its basic FTKOed :(. But... resistance to Lightning is nice :) However, unless you plan to play lots of trainer disruption cards, don't bother with this "pile o' swine" =D

Modified Rating: 4/10 Here it can fare better, but unfortunately, DCE is absent :(. Thus, it needs 4 turns to power up. That's too much. Plus, grass pokemon in this format are quite common. Neo 2 Caterpie can OHKO the Swinub too :(. That's... bad =/

Booster Draft Rating: 8/10 Drafting this is anything but difficult, as it is Uncommon, and its Basic is common. You can build a mighty impressive deck with this card. Dealing 80 damage in Draft is almost unheard of. So if you're drafting Neo Relevation... this huge Piloswine will surely be one your foremost choices.

Late Sidenote: The worst thing about this guy is the "you can't use this attack during the next turn" thingy. If that weren't there, this guy could be actually usable. But oh well. We're left ruing what might have been. ROFL.

Nap and High Speed Charge are supposed to be a one-card combo, but it doesn't really work that well in Constructed. Three retreat is heavy in a Double Gust/Gust of Wind heavy environment (depending on the format), and weakness to Grass is killer, it's Scyther bait in Unlimited and Venusaur bait in the new modified. Being Fighting-type is crappy, so try to counteract it with Resistance Gym in standard or unlimited. You can use Gold Berry, but you don't need to. And even then, Arcanine is better, but that's another review. Like I said, Grass-type Pokemon tear this card up. And even then, 2FF for what amounts to 40 damage every turn (or 25 damage to a resistant pokemon, or 35 damage with resistance gym). Faster pokemon tear it out of the water, and you can't go bang-bang-bang like other pokemon, so there is no consistancy. Also, Fighting resistance is pretty common in all formats. This card is probably best in booster draft, but since you are drafting Neo 3, Graveler is probably a better bet, since the basic is better, and with a lack of DCE, ultimately is faster, dealing 100 damage/2 turns. High HP is probably the only positive of this card.

RATINGS:
MMF: 4.0
Unlimited: 2.0
Booster Draft: 6.0

This is an average card. FFCC for 80, 30 to yourself, and not attacking next turn is pretty bad. You will get SERed before you get to attack. It is strong vs. colorless decks, weak vs. Scythers.

Standard(Unlimited) 2/10 Don't use this card in Standard, Arcanine is basically the same but doesn't have the can't attack next turn thing.
MMF(new modified) 4/10 A little better here but there are better choices out there.
Booster Draft 8/10 Big damage and healing is pretty good.

This card was fun to play.To say the least It has 80HP(Nice) and an Attack of 80 Damage. Well it sounds too good to be true right? Now to take away your dreams for this card.4 Energy To High-Speed-Charge made it vulnerable to er's and ser's and you couldnt use its High-Speed-Charge next turn. It also did 30 to itself. Healing Field would help out and balloon berry would insure its retreat along with double gust. Nice combo with Steelix, Steelix/Piloswine combo was good at the time in mf because people would play crobat a lot and occasionally lightning decks. While Pilo was weak to grass Steelix was resistance to it. And Pilo would help against fire(One hit ko with a Magcargo). But What replaced it in mmf was the Neo3 Kabutops/Steelix Combo which is Fast. I will see a Steelix/Pilo Deck Sometimes but not nearly as much as I used too. In draft forget about it. Its High Retreat cost makes you dread. But If You Can get the right cards which happens rarely you will crush the competition.

Standard-7.5 (If you manage to get all your energy together)
Mf-9.0 (Solid and hard to beat)
Mmf-6.5 (If your opponent doesnt kill you before you get everything out =/)
Draft-4.5(Um Trying To get your hands on everything you need is hard ;/)

This card is a stage one fighting type with decent top stats, 90HP and a decent second attack; High Speed Charge which does 80 to the defender but a recoil of 30. Unfortunately, it can only be used every other turn. Nap, the first attack, removes this damage, but allows your opponent to come after you. Its lower stats are mixed, with lightning resistance but weakness to grass. This is a major drawback, given the scythers still seen in unlimited and the ever-present Crobat in MMF. Its retreat is a horrid 3. It combos well with metal for protection against recoil as R Zappy and Chansey. Also, warp points/Switch can be helpful if using a Piloswine deck. Its basic, Swinub, is very weak, and susceptable to FTKO. In Unlimited it is is significantly slowed down by ER and SER.

Ratings: Unlimited 2/10
MMF; 4/10 (due to no ER)
Draft; 4/10 (uncommon, potential to draft several)

Being a thick 90hp fighting typ pokemon Pilowswine would of course be a little slow. It's first attack needing just a double colorless energy: Nap ( Remove 3 damage counters from Piloswine. If it has fewer counters then that remove all of them)

Then it's second attack needing a DCE and 2 fighting energy: High-Speed Charge 80 (Piloswine does 30 damage to itself. Pilowswine can't use this attack during your nxt turn.)

This card would work better with lots of ballon berry, switch, and Double-Gust so you can retreat after you use his second attack. Some good pokemon to include with this card would be tyrouge, elekid, and (base) hitmonchan. These cards will help you strike faster while your're loading up Piloswine. Also don't forget metal energy since it will block 20 damage done to yourself and then 10 from your opponent. The only side affect is that you'll do 70 damage instead of 80.

Weakness: energy removal and super energy removal if your playing in an Unlimited format , it's so darn slow... it needs 3 energy to retreat, after you use it once you have to wait a turn to use High-Speed Charge agian.

Strength: ummm....???...his 90 Hp would be his only real strong point, he most likely won't get KOed in one turn.

RATINGS: Unlimited (3) MMF (5)

Neo3 Piloswine is an interested card. It is barely used in the unlimited format because of its high energy costs. This pokemon is slow in speed and in loading up for attack. The 2nd attack is just like arcanine's except u can't use this one on ur next turn. But the nap attack will remove the 3 counters u did to urself when u used high-speed charge. So its really every other turn u do 80 and remove the 30 u did to urself. This card is not very playable in the unlimited format though. Most cards, especially the removals will destroy it.

RATINGS:
MMF: 5.5/10 --better in this format then the unlimited format, but still not very strong--
UNLIMITED: 2.5/10 --not played in this format much, just not a good enough card--
DRAFT: 6/10 --It's an uncommon so its not too hard to get, and a solid high HP poke to use.
