Willow was sitting in the computer room surfing, as usual. There were several other students in the room and Sunnydales latest computer teacher. Willow didn't like to think of herself as paranoid but she was certain that people kept looking over at her, she ran her hand over her face to check that she didn't have anything stuck on and praying that she didn't have a note on her back saying 'kick me', she continued working. After a couple of minutes the computer teacher came over and stood behind Willow while she worked.
"Erm, I don't mean to be rude but well, did you want something?" Willow asked her teacher.
"Oh no, not really Willow. sorry for distracting you. You're friends with Buffy Summers aren't you?" She asked aparently from nowhere.
"Yes, Why?"
"Well, I, I don't like to pry, but do you happen to know if the rumors are true?"
"What rumors?"
"You know, that she's seeing the librarian."
"What for study? Oh I get you mean like a couple? No way. He's old. Buffy would never.."
"I was just checking. I didn't believe the rumors myself of course." Willows teacher was quick to ascertain.

"Hey Giles?"
"Oh Hello Buffy." He said emerging from the stacks.
"Sorry I thought you were someone else come to pester me about you.""You're getting it as well, huh? I don't know what everyone thinks the big deal is. It's not that unusual."
"No I suppose it's not, really."
"You don't sound that sure. Girl and cute older guy. What's unbelievable?"
"Uh..what did you say?"
"What's unbelievable?" She asked, confused.
"No the other bit."
"Cute older guy? Well you are."
"You really think so Buffy?" He asked turning round to rumage through some books to hide his embarrasment.
"Modest much. Giles, you're adorable. Why aren't you with someone?" Buffy asked trying the subtle hinting aproach to get Giles to admit how he felt about her, if he felt about her. Giles stood for a few seconds confused before he realised what Buffy was hinting at or at least what he hoped she was hinting at.
"I..well..I didn't think that the someone I want to be with would never think about me like that." He replied and before he could change his mind he bent down and kissed Buffy and his efforts were rewarded by her enthusiastic responce. Buffy pulled away from the kiss, worrying Giles for a moment but all she wanted to do was remove his jacket. Pulling him back down into the kiss Buffy started to undo his shirt buttons and run her fingers along his chest, emboldend by her actions Giles moved his kisses from her mouth, down her neck and along the top of her breasts before ripping off her top and throwing it behind him. Picking Buffy up he carried her over to the table before placing her on the edge and renewing his attentions.
"Oh my God!" a startled voice yelled from the entrance to the library. It was Willow.
"Um..I..We...bloody hell." was Giles only attempt at an explanation.
"No, I mean I'm pleased for you guys. Just startled. I didn't believe the rumors but.. Why didn't you tell me? "
"Will, honestly Snyder was making it up we weren't..not then..damn where did you put my top?"She asked turning to Giles.
"I've got here." He replied handing it over while replacing his own shirt.
"I heard shouting and assumed something undead..but..I'll go now." Willow ran out of the library still flustered by what she'd seen. Buffy started giggling, it was infectious and soon the pair were sitting on the floor of the library in hysterics.
They had just about mastered their giggles when another unexpected visitor burst into the library.
"Uh..Mrs Summers" Giles stammered.
"Home, Buffy. Now."
"What? why? What have I done?" a bewildered Buffy asked her mother.
"Don't give me that young lady. I've just had a call from the Principal I think you know what about. Mr Giles I'm ashamed of you and I'm afraid I can't let Buffy see you anymore. I know she's the Slayer but you have been taking advantage of her and leading her astray. I trusted you and am severly disapointed."
Giles hung his head in shame and also in amazement that at 40 he could still feel like a school boy who had been brought before the principal.
"Mum, It's not his fault and he hasn't been leading me astray. I love him and if I want to see him surely thats my choice. I am an adult now."
"You two are together?" Joyce asked astounded.
"Well, yes, didn't Principal Snyder say that to you?" Giles replied.
"He told me you were both abusive to him and said to, well, I'm not going to repeat that."
"I'm sorry mum. I didn't want to tell you like this.."
"I don't care young lady. You are coming straight home and never seeing Mr Giles again." She grabbed Buffy by the arm and marched her out of the library. Buffy of course could have resisted but felt that wouldn't help matters, instead she just called over her shoulder to Giles to
"Call me."
