Three Wishes

Prologue

    I rememeber the day all of this began. I remember it perfectly, as is it were yesterday.  But, of course, it wasn't. It began years ago-actually only two- but it seems like so much longer.
    Where did this begin? On a small island in the South seas. I'm not entirely sure what it's called. I forgot it the day after we left. Why, I don't know. Maybe it was supposed to be that way.
    Why was I there? Well, it was July of 2001. I'd graduated from high school a month before, and I and my best friends, Niki and Di decided to take a vacation to celebrate my graduation, Niki's 21st birthday, and my first book(I'd just gotten it published).
    That's where it began. Strange, how the smallest, simplest thinds can change your life.  Here we where, on this small island, thinking of nothing more than our clothes, tans, and guys(of course! can't not think of guys). we never imagined that our week long vacation would change our lives so drastically(not that you here us complaining).  But that's life.
