"Do I mean what, Chris?" Joey asked. He knew what Chris meant, just wanted to prolong their suffering.
"Are they dating?" Chris asked.
"They who?" Joey replied.
Chris sighed, exasperated. "Cat and Justin."
"Cat and Justin what?" Joey started to laugh.
Liz looked at Joey and JC. "They are," she yelled, jumping up. "And you tow knew and didn't tell me." She glared at them. "You'll regret this. How long did you two know?"
"Since Cat came back from Europe. The night a few days after she came back, when you all went out," joey told Liz. "I told JC later that night."
"You've known for six months!" Lex exclaimed. "You're going to pay."
Her and Liz walked in Cat's room without knocking.
Cat and Justin were still, hugging. Cat was still crying and Justin was rocking her, running his hands through her hair. When Lex and Liz walked in, they both looked up. The guys piled in behind the women.
"Hasn't anyone told you it's rude to walk in a closed room without knocking?" Justin asked, looking at everyone. Cat wiped her tears away.
"You shut up," Liz told him. "Why didn't you tell us you were dating, Cat?"
"Because I didn't want you to get mad," Cat replied, laying her head back on Justin's shoulder.
"Catherine Alexandria Hallbrooke, I'm your best friend!"
"Don't use my full name. And who told we were dating?" She lifted her head and removed her arms from where they rested, around Justin's neck.
Justin glared at Chris and Lance, then at Joey and JC.
"Chris and Lance probably told everyone I got an engagement ring, and then JC and Joey told them we were dating."
"Not quite. We never actually said you were dating each other; they just assumed," JC said. He and Joey started to laugh.
Cat and "Justin glared at them; the guys bit their lips to keep from laughing; that failing, they went back to the front room. Everyone heard them laughing.
"So he proposed?" Liz asked.
"Yes, and I said yes." Cat lifted her left hand and stared at the ring. "I love the ring. How did you know what I wanted?"
"Guessed," Justin said.
Cat pushed him. "Seriously, how did you know?"
Justin laughed. "I saw your drawing."
"Oh. Okay." She laid her head back down. Suddenly she thought of something and lifted her head. "When did you see it? I got rid of that drawing years ago, right after I got back from NYC, after Liz, Chris, Lex, and Lance became engaged."
"When you went to New York, I stayed in your room. One day, I got bored and went through your drawers," Justin told her.
"How rude," Cat said. "And you remembered it this long?"
"Yes. You're not mad at me?"
"Well.... No." She gave him a kiss.
"Oh God," Liz groaned. "Break it up, you two."
Justin and Cat glanced at her. "We just got engaged. Leave us alone," Cat said.
"No. You, me, and Lex are going shopping."
Cat thought for a minute, whispered something to Justin, and got up. "Okay."
They left. They spent the rest of the day shopping. They came back loaded with things. That night , they went out to dinner to celebrate. When they got back to the hotel, it was nearing midnight. Everyone was tired and decided to go to bed. They were leaving the next day, around eleven, and needed their sleep.
Liz looked at Cat and Justin. "I'm locking the two of you in your rooms."
"Why?" Cat asked.
"Because you two have gotten 'jiggy' with it often enough, I think."
"What? You don't know how many times we've had sex," Justin exclaimed.
"No. But I can assume at least twice- probably more- and in my opinion, that's enough, until you get married.'
"How unfair. Can you truthfully say you and Chris didn't have sex before you were married?" Cat asked, pouting.
"I'm not going there. i'm older and wiser."
"You're not wiser. i've had sex before."
"You may have, but that don't matter. you and Justin aren't going to have sex until you're married."
"How rude!" Cat stalked into her room..
"Goodnight," Liz said, closing the door and locking it. Cat waited until she heard her friend walk away from the door, then smiled. She looked at the connecting doors between hers and Justin's rooms. They'd forgotten about those.
Justin went into his room. "Night," he called. Chris stuck his head in.
"Goodnight,' he said. he closed the door and locked it.
An hour later, Justin opened the door leading to Cat's room and knocked softly on hers. It opened and Cat walked into his room. She closed the doors behind her. She was dressed in a short, silky robe.
"New?" Justin asked.
"Part of the surprise i promised you," Cat told him, slyly.
"Just part?"
Cat nodded. She walked over to the bed. "But I'm not going to give you the rest until you give me a kiss."
justin walked over to her. "I'd give you a kiss just for the hell of it. But getting a surprise sweetens the deal." He gave her a kiss. Cat untied the belt and pushed the robe off her shoulders. She pulled away from Justin and laid on the bed.
Justin's jaw dropped. The short lace nightgown she was wearing left nothing to the imagination. He leaned over her, whispering, "I love the night gown. Do you have anymore?"
"Lots." Cat pulled him down for a deep kiss. Justin tumbled on her.At nine the next morning, Liz walked into Cat's room. The first thing she noticed was the bed- it hadn't been slept on. Liz ran out, worried. Where could she be? Lex and Joey were in front room.
"Has Cat been in the here?"
"No. She couldn't have come out; the door was locked," Lex replied, curious.
"Well, she's not in her room." Liz walked over to Justin's room and unlocked the door. She walked in, intent on asking him if he'd seen Cat. She stopped dead in her tracks. Cat and Justin were sleeping on his bed.
"Cat and Justin, what the fuck did you do?" she screamed.
They jumped and everyone came running the room. "Exactly that," Cat muttered.
"Justin, get out now," Liz told him, pointing to the door.
"It's my room and I'm not dressed."
"I don't give a fuck if it is your room and you ain't got anything I haven't seen before."
"Justin, you move from that bed and your dead," Chris said.
"Yeah, we'll both kill you," Lance said.
"Since this is Justin's room, I'll leave," Cat said.
"Like hell you're standing up naked in front of four guys," Justin told her. "Everyone leave."
"No!' Liz and Lex said at the same time.
"I'll make this easy," Cat said. She wrapped the sheet around her, hiding under the blanket.
