Chapter 16

Time to stake out my territory.  Justin jumped off the chair he was sitting on and walked toward Cat.  He took her in his arms and gave her a kiss that took her breath away.  He stepped back to look at her once again.
"You look beautiful, angel," he said, his voice low.
Cat smiled.  "Thank you.  You look handsome," she told him.
They walked out of the hotel.

Cat and Justin entered the suite, kissing.  Justin pulled down the zipper to the dress.
Just then Cat's cell phone rang.
"Damn," she whispered.
"Ignore it," Justin said, kissing her neck.
"I can't.  It might be my agent."
Justin sighed.  "I suppose you can answer it."
Cat rolled her eyes. " Oh, thank you, my lord and master."
"That's right.  And don't you forget it."
"In your dreams."  Cat picked up her cell phone and turned it on.  "Hello."
"Took you long enough," JC's voice came through the phone.
"Oh, it's you."
"Well, nice to talk to you too," he said, sounding offended.
"What do you want?? I'm busy."
"I need to talk to Justin.  Do you know where I can call him.  His cell phone's off."
"Here he is," she said, handing the phone to Justin.
"What do you want, JC?"
"Aren't we in a good mood?"
"I was, until you called."  Cat walked over to the bed and finished unzipping the dress.  It fell to her feet.  She tossed it over a chair and laid down on the bed.  Justin's mouth dropped open and he didn't hear what JC was saying.
"Justin Timberlake," JC yelled through the phone.  That snapped him out of his shock.
"What?" Justin snapped.
"Why aren't you paying attention?"
"I was doing something else when you called."
"Isn't Joey there to stop you two from doing anything like that?"
"That's none of your business.  Talk to me when we come home."
"Fine.  Bye."
"Bye."  They hung up.
Justin walked toward the bed, pulling off his jacket and his vest, ripping his shirt.  Stud's went flying.  He kicked off his shoes.  His pants hung low on his hips.
Cat smiled.  Justin straddled her, leaning down to kiss her.  "I love you, baby," he whispered, his lips tracing a path to her breasts.
Justin undid her bra, freeing her breasts.  He took a nipple in his mouth, sucking.  Cat arched her body.
"I love you too," Cat managed to say.

Cat, Justin, and Joey arrived in Florida a few days later.  It was nearly two in the morning.
Joey went back to the house he shared with JC.  Cat and Justin drove to Justin's house.  He carried her over the threshold.
When he put her down, Cat asked, "Should I call everyone and tell them we're home?"
"Call Liz and Lex.  JC will already know," Justin replied.
Cat called Liz and Lex and left messages on their machines.
Justin gave her a kiss.  "I'm dead tired, but I really want to do something."
Cat smiled.  "Same here." He led her up the stairs and into his, now their, room.

The next day, Cat called Liz back.
"Hey, Liz," Cat said, when Liz picked up.  "Did you get my message?"
"Yeah.  Can you and Justin come over for dinner tonight?  Everyone else is," Liz asked.
"What time?"
"Seven."
"Yeah, we can do that."
Where are you staying?"
"At Justin's."
?No, you're not.  Bring your stuff over tonight.  You can stay here."
"I have something to tell you that will change your mind in a heartbeat."
"What?  Tell me."
"I'll tell everyone tonight."
"No.  Tell me now!"
"Bye.  Talk to you tonight."  She hung up, laughing.

"Well, here goes," Justin said.  They'd just pulled into the driveway of Chris and Liz's house.
"God, I hope no one flips.  I'll be so dead," Cat said.
"No, Liz and Lex won't kill you.  They'll kill me," Justin replied, opening the car door for her.  They walked to the front door.
Liz answered it.  She gave Cat and Justin hugs and led them into the living room.  Everyone else was there.
"Now you can tell us what ever you have to tell us," Liz said.
Cat shook her head.  "Over dinner."
"Why?  Please tell me it isn't bad news.  You and Justin are so right for each other," Lex said.
Cat laughed.  "It isn't anything like that."
"Okay.  Dinner's ready now, if you want to eat," Liz said.
"Yes.  I'm starving," Lex said.  Her pregnancy had left her constantly hungry and she had the strangest cravings; but they didn't compare to Liz's.
"I agree," Liz said.  Everyone walked into the dining room.  The food was on the table, ready to eat.  Once everyone had served themselves, Liz and Lex looked at Cat.  She shook her head slightly.  So they started in on the reason for the dinner: the wedding.
"We should start planning the wedding now, although it'll be at least six months before you can get married," Liz said.
"Yeah.  If we're going to be in it, and we are, we want our figures back," Lex told Cat.  Cat started choking; she'd taken a bite of chicken when Liz started talking.
Justin pounded her on the back.  She grabbed her glass and took a drink.
"God, how am I going to say this?" Cat said.  Liz and Lex were looking at her, curious.  She took a deep breath.  "There's not going to be a huge wedding; there's not even going to be a wedding party."
"What do you mean?" Liz asked.  "Why?"
"Well Justin and I didn't  go to Tennessee.  We went to Vegas and eloped," Cat explained, low and fast.
"I didn't hear that," Lex said.  "Say it again."
Cat took another deep breath; Justin reached under the table and took her hand.  He twined his fingers in hers.  "Justin and I...." she began again.  She stopped.  "Justin and I...."
"Justin and you...?" Liz asked.  "Have decided not to get married?"
Cat shook her head.  "Of course not.  We love each other," Cat exclaimed.  "We eloped."
The room became totally silent.  Everyone was staring at her and Justin.
