This is a series of pieces I wrote at Intelrochen this summer. Not all the pieces are titled, so I’ve numbered them by type if they aren’t titled. This pages consists of all the poems I wrote first.
Haiku I
Amber and emerald
Beautiful beyond compare
I’ll love you always
Best Friends (Sonnet I)
One kind and cheerful, sweet, and lovely, too
With smile of emerald, amethyst, and gold
And eyes like pools of loveliest emerald hue
She is forever young, can not grow old
The other vibrant, fearless, passionate
With childlike face yet eyes of wisdom deep
Thought ‘neath, her heart contains a secret that
Her love spawns fear, and still her secret keep
The love she harbored deep revealéd speaks
And while she fears rejection of her words
Despite the tears she sheds in sorrow, weeps
The other still forgives and rights her world
A smile is shared, no secrets left now, for
Thest two are still best friends, forever more.
Stream-of-Conscious Poem I
O fortuna, velut luna
Diana’s so wonderful, I just totally adore her, she’s almost as cool as
Her
I miss her
I love her
When does friendship end and love begin?
I really do
They understand, but will my new friends?
Why am I so shy around here?
I’m not sure if she’ll reject me or not
I love her, I really really do
All of my heart
Truest heart, where
“Fuck: The Opera”
Fuck the opera
“Rent” is the opera
True love rules all
I wonder if Diana would get it
Does Yukari love me too? Is she wondering if she loves me?
O fortuna
I love her, I really do.
Musings I
You’re beautiful
You already know that
But sometimes I wish
I could do more than see beauty
But also feel, taste, revel in beauty
If we kissed...
Would it be as I dream?
You’re picture isn’t you
A kiss on paper lips in’t real
Are your lips as warm as they look
Soft and giving from playig winds for so long?
Mind would blend, I know
They’re ready and receiving
Are yours?
Would they melt on mine as they met?
Or would they be unyielding, unwilling
And all of my wishes only based
On dreams I know can’t come true?
