Em's Um Page
When my son was born we did not have a name for him for a few day's.
An intern came round one day going "aah what's he called?"
I replied "um".
I couldn't believe it when the man said very seriously "and how do you spell that?"
So this is my "um" page- I haven't a name for it or (unlike my son) any real reason for it
exept for having fun playing with graphics I like on a black background!.
Oh! and the need to make a new page -life is chaotic -I need an escape!.
I've been working on a couple of pages since we got back from Scotland but theyr'e still under construction.
While away we caught up with loads of friends and relatives.
a few have websites so here are some links:-
The Puffer Bar and Restaurant
ceilidhband.org
Mouthpiecemusic.com
The above are linked - They are a friend who lives and works on easdale island - Bar site,
the band he plays with site, and another band member's site
We had a wonderful brief visit to the island -interrupting band practice.
The children loved the short ferry journey and the music!.
Colin Blakey from mouthpeicemusic.com used to be in The Waterboys.

Obanminded.com
This is a commercial site-my friend Lucy works there (when she's not window cleaning
or looking after her 2 lovely daughters)

I came across Liselotte Eriksson's site while surfing the other day

I am in the middle of reading "The Rebel Fairy" by Deborah Wright at the moment.
A sort of modern day "midsummer night's dream" with more sex and a lot more laughs!
click here for the author's site.

There is a fairy shop in the middle of Amsterdam - just off Dam Square - called Chimera It's a really magical place.
I have a fairy shelf in my kitchen and a good few of my fairies come from this shop. You walk in off a very busy street into a complete fantasy world
There are fairies and pixies, unicorns and dragons, warlords, witches and wizards,
books, posters, prints, jewelry and more all in a magical setting.
Well worth a visit on the net - much better to visit in person!.

Enough waffle for now
-Em-
