I love bubbles -bubblemainia is taking over my household.
When in Dublin a few weeks ago I bought a couple of amazing bubble products.
The first is a bubble wand - a simple enough contraption, just a plastic wand with a long loop of material attached.
It's magic
The whole family is captivated - and visitors love it too
I've spent a fortune in washing up liquid but it's worth it
It produces the biggest bubbles I've ever seen.
I got this magic bubble maker in a shop but you can order one online from
Klutz.com - a neat site for other amazing toys whatever your age!.
The second is pure luxury - bubbles to fill your bath and make you smell nice.
There is this shop in Dublin just across from the front gates of Trinity College called LUSH
and very aptly named too!
The first thing that hits you is the smell, which is wonderful if a bit overpowering
Then you start wondering whether you are meant to put their products in a bath or eat them.
The bath bombs and sticks which you place under running water for bountious bubbles are incredible.
There is even one with glitter so you get out of the bath smelling lovely ,with a dash of glitter all over!.

I have a tatoo of a copy of the above picture on my left shoulder.
I had it done a couple of years ago.
When I decided at 36 that I wanted a tattoo I hadn't a single doubt what I wanted
One of Amy Brown's fairy's floating on a bubble.
I would actually have chosen the top one (bubblerider) but the Tattoo artist persuaded me otherwise.
So I am growing old with a beautiful fairy on my shoulder (thanks Angus).
I love it!
