We all met up in Glasgow last Thusrday(16/05). I don't think I've really been in Glasgow for 7 years. I have passed through a few times and maybe had a brief stop once but staying for 4 nights was lovely.
Now we are home and I have some huge decisions to make.
The children are bugging me so I have no time to write at the moment.

We have had a mixed time the last few weeks. Stewart was struck down by a rotten stomach bug and I have been feeling generally run down and low - Not good when there is so much to be done and organised. We are sorting things slowly however and Stewart has his flight's booked for France on the 7th May. He's going to find out first hand what the property market is really like and what our prospects are for finding tempory/rented accomodation for a while. Our main problem now is that rather than moving to France with plenty of money to set us up nicely, we only have the little that is left from the sale of the land and the knowledge that we will be able to afford a nice house when we sell here!. Stewart is muttering about the possibilities of a caravan and a tent and I have all these warning bells going off in my head. I'll just have to wait 'till he comes back and find out what the real story is. We will meet up with him in Glasgow on the 17th as I have to take the kids to Glasgow for that weekend. We now have a digital camera -I'm just starting to get the hang of it - with any luck I'll be putting up pages with all my own stuff soon!
Must go as Sacha (6 year old daughter) is objecting madly to me spending time on the computer. I suppose begrugingly she is quite right.
I have added a couple of new pages and removed a couple. 11/04/02
Things have not been quiet since we got back. Eveywhere I look there are things to do. It's SPRING. Ireland's spring always makes me feel breathless with it's intensity. There is such a
surge of energy. There are lovely primroses everywhere and the blackthorn bushes and hedges are all white, the wild garlic and bluebells are showing signs of flowering. Soon the woods will be carpeted with white and blue for a few weeks. I love this time of year but it
always passes too fast!. I took a day out on Wednesday and went to Dublin. A good friend had to be in Dublin for a week while her daughter had tests at the hospital. So I decided to do something I have been wanting to do since we moved here and take the train to Dublin for the day. I had a wonderful day. I must do
it again -soon (shhh don't tell Stewart!) I went looking for software and discoverd that I can download Paint Shop Pro for a free trial. I just have to wait until I know I am going to get the time to play. If I don't I will just get very grumpy with everyone as I'm not getting to do what I want - It's not their fault
that I have finally found something that totally fascinates me just at one of the busiest times of my life!. It's now Friday morning and the school in their wisdom have given the darling monsters a day off (first week back after the holidays!).
"Oh for the quiet life!".
Busy, busy, busy.
Did you like my new splash/index pages from Moon and Back Graphics?. I think it's brilliant -for a while.
Stewart has made it to France. His going away has made the whole move more real. Both exiting and scary!. The children are coping well. We try as much as we can to really keep them up to date with what is going on which is pretty difficult really as plans keep going wrong. Anyway we all get on pretty well though being a family of 4 independant strong willed individuals the fireworks get pretty good sometimes!.
Oh, bother it's midnight again and I have a busy again day tommorrow.
Today is our 12th wedding anniversary. Good memories of a mad, happy day. We were out last night so this morning I am worse than a bear with a sore head. I don't drink but I've always been one who needed my full 7-8 hrs sleep!.

Our life has suddenly got very busy. We seem to have gone from a standstill to fastforward in 3 weeks. The visit to Scotland for easter
was wonderful, the weather was amazing and every day was filled with seeing people we hadn't seen in years. The children had a ball and were very good on the long car journeys
although the final journey coming home last Saturday we were all starting to get very tired and fed up with the car!. It was one of those holidays when you feel like you need a holiday
to recover from it (and not because I'd been up partying all night).
