MISS BLACK SPARTANBURG PAGEANT - The Miss Black Spartanburg Pageant has been held annually for over 25 years.  It is designed to showcase the beautiful, intelligent and talented young women in our community. The contestants ages range from 17 - 25 and they participate in a friendly competition for the title of Miss Black Spartanburg. There are categories such as talent, evening gown, swim suit, interview session and congeniality. The winner receives a cash scholarship to help further their educational needs as well as many other personal appearances and engagements.  Over the years, the pageant has awarded over $40,000.00 in scholarships.  Click here for Application (Print Only - PDF file).     Click to download Adobe

HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLAR AWARD - Any student who is a high school senior within Spartanburg county or in county in which a member of Epsilon Nu chapter resides is eligible. A $500.00 award is presented to four outstanding high school students (individually) based on Grade Point Average, School Involvement, Honors & Awards, Civic and Community Involvement and Financial need. These funds are intended to assist students in their efforts to further their education.

OMEGA RAIDERS FOOTBALL TEAM - Working in the community to further enhance the lives of young men is the duty of any Omega man.  The Brothers of Epsilon Nu sponsor a group of young men in a local football league that competes with other teams in their age bracket. These young men learn discipline, team work, work ethic, interpersonal skills and have an opportunity to interact with other young men in a positive environment under the umbrella of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.  Click here for website.

LADIES NIGHT - The wives, sweethearts and women of the community are always an important part of whatever we accomplish as a Fraternity.  Their support and hands-on work are always key elements in our success. Often times their sacrifices surpass even our own.  Words just can not express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for their efforts. For that reason a night is set aside to honor those women and say "Thank you" for their support and hard work.

MARDI GRAS - In our efforts to have a positive impactt on our community we often forget to take time out for ourselves and have fun. The Mardi Gras serves two fundamental purposes. It is a fundraiser for our many other community related activities and an opportunity for Brothers and  the community at large to come together socialize, meet, greet and make acquaintances. This is a culminating activity which allows the men of Epsilon Nu chapter to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

BOYS CAMP - Boys Camp is another opportunity for thee Brothers of Epsilon Nu, along with other Brothers of Omega Psi Phi, to work with young men.  The young men have an opportunity to learn discipline, team work, work ethic and interpersonal skills.  In addition, the young men learn about the four cardinal principles of Omega; Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift.
