Capital is raised mainly
through the sale of shares. Shares
are sold at 50p each, with a maximum of 800 shares for sale.
In this way, the company can raise up to £400 for the purchase of
materials and so on. Enchanté also
plans to raise capital by holding an under-18’s party in April.
Participants of the Young
Enterprise scheme are usually entered through their school.
The scheme is usually made available to Year 11-13 students.
Many schools only offer the option to Business Studies students, but this
is not always the case. Some
schools are not involved in the Young Enterprise scheme at all.
